Casa di Laciana al mare
Casa di Laciana al Mare sits right at the seafront in Tambon Hua Hin, combining an Italian restaurant setting with the relaxed coastal character of the town. The approach alone sets expectations well — a generous parking area leads through a charming garden before opening into a spacious, airy dining hall positioned directly at the water's edge, making it a natural choice for a long, unhurried meal. The menu spans both Italian and Thai dishes, with the kitchen drawing praise across both. The pizzas stand out in particular: thin, crispy-based and made with a slightly sweet tomato sauce that divides opinion between purists and those who enjoy the local adaptation. Seafood also features prominently, fitting the beachside location. Visitors consistently note the warm, attentive service as a highlight, with staff described as genuinely welcoming rather than simply efficient. Open daily from 12:00 to 22:00, the restaurant suits both lunch stops and evening meals throughout the week. Parking is plentiful for both cars and motorbikes, which is a practical advantage in this stretch of Hua Hin. For weekend visits during peak season — particularly public holidays and long weekends when Bangkok residents head south — arriving early or booking ahead for larger groups is advisable. Check the Facebook page before visiting for any seasonal menu updates or event nights.

Visitor Reviews
The food here is absolutely delicious, with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Every dish is full of authentic flavor, both the Italian and Thai selections. The pizza is fantastic—thin, crispy, and wonderfully fragrant with cheese and truffle. The Burrata Rocket Salad is excellent, and the Gambas are incredibly fresh, bouncy, and juicy. Served with dried chilies and garlic, it’s a truly authentic Gambas al Ajillo that’s hard to find anywhere else. I also ordered the Luang Prabang Papaya Salad and was blown away—it was incredibly flavorful, spicy, and aromatic with fermented shrimp paste, topped with crispy, fragrant dried shrimp. The clams in white wine sauce were also delicious, perfectly balanced in taste. 😋 To top it off, the owner is lovely—friendly, fun, and welcoming. The staff provided great service and recommended portions suitable for our group. I’ll definitely be coming back!
An absolutely stunning seaside restaurant with a spacious, airy atmosphere. Upon arrival, you’ll find a large parking area leading into a charming garden, before reaching the dining hall set right at the water’s edge. The gentle sound of waves creates a romantic and soothing backdrop, elevating the entire experience. While prices lean toward the higher side, the ambiance and overall enjoyment make it truly worthwhile. Just a little side note, the portion is quite small, and I was a little surprised to see the scallop just served halved, especially given its already modest size. Still, it was neatly presented and seasoned for one bite.
There is plenty of parking (cars or motorbikes). The Ham and Pepperoni pizza was good, thin crispy crust (sauce is a little more sweet than savory, I liked it, my fiancé prefers more savory). The Salt and Pepper Calamari was the crispiest I’ve had, really good flavors. Would not recommend the Carbonara, it was more like Alfredo than anything. Staff were friendly.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
