Central World Square Street Food
Situated near the CentralWorld shopping complex in the Pathum Wan district of Bangkok, this open-air style eatery brings together a range of Thai dishes and beverages under one organised roof. It occupies a middle ground between true street food stalls and a sit-down restaurant, offering a cleaner and more structured environment than roadside dining, with menus and prices clearly displayed at each stall. Visitors can expect familiar Thai staples such as pad thai, seafood dishes, and a variety of drinks including Thai tea and fresh fruit juices. The setup allows customers to eat both outside and inside a covered canteen area, making it a reasonable option when the heat or rain makes open street dining less appealing. That said, prices run noticeably higher than comparable street food stalls in the surrounding area, and some visitors have found the food quality inconsistent, particularly for seafood. Good to know: this spot is best approached as a convenience stop rather than a destination dining experience. Travellers staying near CentralWorld who want a quick, no-fuss Thai meal without navigating busier street food areas will find it practical. Those willing to walk a few minutes further can likely find more authentic flavours at lower prices elsewhere in the neighbourhood.

Visitor Reviews
A lot of drinks, sea foods. Can eat inside the canteen too. But most food are pricy.
Food is decent, phad thai is tasty, but price here is more expensive than similar non-aircon places nearby
The advantage is, it's bright and it's cleaner than if you have had to eat at the side of the street. The food they sell and prices are clearly stated. More importantly, they are well organized and buying food is simple and straight forward. However, I found most of the food average and nothing to shout about. Definitely nothing that I would look for a repeat bite. In short, nice place to get a variety of street food. Clean and convenient. And that's all to it.
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
