Alley Cocktail Bar
Tucked into a small alley off the busy stretch of Soi Sukhumvit 11, Alley Cocktail Bar is an easy place to walk past without noticing — and that is a large part of its charm. With just a handful of benches and an intimate setup, it offers a stripped-back alternative to the louder, more commercial bars that dominate the surrounding area. The owner personally crafts the cocktails, and the care that goes into each drink comes through clearly in the experience visitors describe. The bar punches well above its size. Drinks are consistently described as well-made and reasonably priced, and the menu extends to food as well, with snacks like boiled peanuts available throughout the evening. Music is accessible via a shared tablet, giving the place a laid-back, communal feel. The atmosphere is quiet enough for conversation without losing any sense of occasion. Given its small capacity — only a few benches in total — arriving earlier in the evening is a practical way to secure a spot before it fills up. The bar is best suited to those looking for a low-key, neighbourhood-style drinking experience rather than a high-energy night out. It sits close to the main Sukhumvit 11 strip, making it easy to combine with other venues in the area.

Visitor Reviews
Second time visiting today, still as relaxed an environment as the first time! The cocktails are fantastic, you can tell there’s a lot of love going into this place! Anytime I visit Bangkok I will be sure to visit! Bar staff are very kind and attentive. Whether you’re with company or a casual drink!
You blink and you will miss this spot. It’s actually in a small alley on one end of Soi 11. 3-4 benches that’s it. The owner himself makes the drink. Drinks are reasonably priced and well made. They don’t have a food menu but deliver food from a very popular restaurant close by. Will recommend.
Awesome little spot tucked away in a literal alleyway. Staff is very friendly, drinks were great and reasonably priced. You can also order food, which was delicious! Very good music playing too
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
