KING POWER Phuket International Airport
Situated within Phuket International Airport, this King Power duty-free complex operates as a multi-format retail destination, with both a main outlet store and smaller satellite shops spread across the terminal. The centre stocks a broad range of goods including cosmetics, perfumes, spirits, and branded products, and tax-free pricing is available to international passengers holding a ticket with a stay of no longer than 60 days in Thailand. In practice, the shopping experience is convenient rather than exceptional. Visitors can browse familiar duty-free categories, though several reviewers note that advertised discounts do not always reflect at the register, and prices on many items run significantly higher than what is available in town. The sporting goods section has been flagged as limited, and the overall atmosphere mirrors standard airport retail — functional and accessible, but not a destination for considered or budget-conscious shopping. Good to know: If picking up last-minute items was not part of the original plan, it is worth comparing prices before committing to a purchase, as markups can be substantial compared to retail prices in Phuket city or at local convenience stores. International passengers should have their boarding pass and passport on hand, as these are typically required to access duty-free pricing. The 24-hour operation accommodates all flight times, but the centre tends to be busiest around peak departure windows.

Visitor Reviews
King Power seems to be everywhere nowadays, and when I was at Phuket International Airport, I could not run away from this duty-free brand. The duty-free shops are in two concepts, one as a main outlet with multiple brands located inside, like a small department store, and then there individual brand outlets located around the departure hall area, making it convenient for last-minute shopping. Good products, which are the latest designs and prices, are decent.
Great place for shopping if u have international ticket not longer than 60days you can shopping here with no Tax. And thank you so much to use our Blezz tiles to decorate most of the 2nd Floor and inside shopping area of 1st Floor. It is so remarkable decorated floors and same sinoportuguese style like Phuket story.
Short version: King Power duty-free store at the airport offers a decent selection of goods, but don't expect the best prices. Quality is guaranteed, but the sporting goods section is lacking. It's a serviceable option for last-minute shopping before your flight. Full version: King Power duty-free store offers a wide array of options for consumers, providing a decent selection of goods that are new and occasionally trendy. While the prices may not always be the most competitive, you should consider the fact of its location. Since you're in an airport, you have lost the opportunity to find bargains and spend time at the mall. However, there is a guarantee of quality which is reassuring. One area that could be improved is the sporting goods section, which seems lacking in variety and quantity. Though its understandable that demand for that section is lacking, given the world's penchant for sedentary lifestyles and an aversion towards health consciousness. So I understand why this section might not be a priority for many travelers. Overall, King Power is a serviceable duty-free store. While it may not stand out as particularly exceptional, it meets the basic expectations and provides a satisfactory shopping experience for travelers looking to make purchases before their flights. --- You can find me on Insta: @imdanielyoon

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
