Sea Seeker Krabi Resort

4.5(2,817 reviews)

Situated in the heart of Ao Nang, Sea Seeker Krabi Resort is a large beachside hotel offering comfortable accommodation with sea-view rooms available on upper floors. Its position places guests within easy reach of Ao Nang Beach, local restaurants, and the broader attractions of the Krabi region, making it a practical base for exploring the area's islands, limestone karsts, and coastal scenery. Rooms are described by guests as spacious and clean, with higher floors offering notable sea views. The resort has a spa and caters well to families, though couples seeking a quieter, more intimate atmosphere may want to consider this when booking. The surrounding neighbourhood features family-owned restaurants across the street that come highly recommended by guests, and the resort sits close enough to Ao Nang's bars and activity hubs without being directly in the middle of them. Good to know: Light sleepers should request a room away from the lifts and internal corridors, as sound insulation between rooms and hallways is limited — some guests recommend bringing earplugs. Upper-floor sea-view rooms are worth requesting at the time of booking rather than on arrival, as the resort is a large property and these rooms tend to be popular. Rooms in open-air corridor buildings can carry a slight damp smell due to the tropical climate, which is common in the region and not necessarily a reflection of cleanliness standards.

Visitor Reviews

Perfect location. Slightly away from the action and bars but close enough to enjoy them daily. So much to see and do around the area and the family-owned restaurants across the street are highly rated and serve delicious food. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and extra points for being a non-smoking facility. The pool is small but we managed to get lounge chairs daily for at least an hour or two. The only two negatives I would mention are there is no shelf space to store your luggage so it's all on the floor and the sink and mirror situation is odd. Hard to shave, put make up on, etc when the mirror is beside the sink 🤔 Staff is very friendly, breakfast buffet is extensive with something for everyone and rooms are clean with nice balconies. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights in a room with a sea view on the 7th floor. The room is very nice, comfortable, not fancy or especially decorated. The hotel itself is large and. crowded, and can get noisy but Breakfast was good, the pool large and fun, the hotel staff are charming and helpful. The hotel restaurant has excellent food. We enjoyed the hotel's location a short walk from the sea. We booked all the activities and attractions through the hotel at excellent prices and we also enjoyed the spa treatments and the option of ordering excellent food to the room, via the hotel app. Overall, a very good and positive experience.

Had a very great time here. The team, spa and location are outstanding. Special thanks to Mr. Tar. I recommend to bring ear plugs, as the rooms are not much sound isolated and you can hear people talk in other rooms or on the floor rather loudly. But that’s just a minor remark. We would definitely come back and can totally recommend.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls

Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.

Arrive Early or Late

Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.

Be Cautious with Tailors

Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
