Waterfall
Nestled within a park setting in the middle of Patong, this modest waterfall offers a surprisingly tranquil retreat from one of Phuket's busiest tourist areas. Its central location makes it easy to reach on foot, and the surrounding greenery provides a welcome contrast to the commercial hustle of the neighbourhood. A small sheltered structure nearby offers seating and shade, making it a pleasant spot to rest and cool down mid-sightseeing. Visitors should set expectations accordingly — this is a small, decorative waterfall rather than a dramatic natural feature. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, and the water is accessible enough to wade in. The site includes some architectural detailing around connecting monuments that adds a touch of character. However, reviews note that maintenance has been inconsistent, with litter and debris sometimes present, which can detract from the overall experience. Good to know: there is no dedicated parking at this location, so arriving on foot or by taxi is advisable. Facilities such as toilets may not always be operational, so plan accordingly. The site appears to be freely accessible, though opening hours are not officially confirmed. Given the limited shade available beyond the small shelter, visiting during the cooler morning hours is recommended, particularly during the hot season. This spot is best suited to travellers looking for a brief, low-key break rather than a full day out.

Visitor Reviews
Small but peaceful. Nice shaded area to sit, easy to observe. No parking.
Lobster steamed very good 👍🏻🦞🦞
Wonderful little waterfall in the middle of Patong! Easy to reach! Has a small building next to it whit roof where you can sit down and hide from the sun and rekax. You can walk in the water but be careful of slippery stones! Not big enough to swim in! The amount of water varies alot during the year. In dry season it's almost dry but in the end of the rainy season it can sometimes be really big and sometimes even overflowing the area! Not much people find this little gem!
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
