Bearing BTS Station
Bearing serves as the southern terminus of the BTS Sukhumvit Line, marking the boundary between central Bangkok and the outer Bang Na district. As the last stop on the line, it is a practical entry point for residents and visitors travelling to or from the Bang Na Tai neighbourhood, with onward connections available across the city via the broader BTS network. The station follows the standard BTS layout familiar to regular users of the system, with ticketing facilities including advanced ticket dispensing machines on site. In recent years, the station has added vendor stands at ground level offering clothing and refreshments, making brief waits more convenient. A footpath obstruction caused by water pumping equipment on the pavement below the station has been noted by visitors, so pedestrians should take care when navigating the immediate surroundings, particularly during or after rain. For those commuting or travelling through the area, Bearing is a functional and straightforward station with all the essentials expected of the BTS network. Travellers connecting from other parts of Bangkok should be aware that as the terminus, trains originating here tend to have available seating before picking up passengers along the busier central sections of the line, which can make outbound journeys more comfortable during peak hours.

Visitor Reviews
This station has now on site stands selling things like clothing and refreshments. It's been getting better slowly. Also note that here they have the advanced ticket dispensing machines where you can buy with bills and but multiple tickets. A time saver. All stations should be like this. Also the coin ticket machines will also allow you to buy multiple tickets but, avoid these as coins are rejected by most of these BTS machines everywhere. Save yourself some time by buying your round-trip tickets here if you're going to use the same stations back and forth as you won't have to stand in line at the other station waiting to buy your return trip tickets. Oh, the fares just went up 5 Baht from here to On Nut station and beyond. Still, well worth it as you avoid BKK traffic.

Tips for Visiting Transportation
Take the Sleeper Train at Least Once
The Bangkok-to-Chiang Mai overnight train in a second-class sleeper berth is a bucket-list experience. Book at least a week ahead via 12Go.asia or at Hua Lamphong station. Upper berths are cheaper and have more headroom; lower berths have a window.
Use Grab Everywhere
Grab is the Uber of Southeast Asia and works across Thailand for cars, motorbike taxis, and even tuk-tuks in some cities. It eliminates haggling and provides fare estimates upfront. Load a Thai SIM or use eSIM to stay connected.
Rent Scooters Carefully
Always photograph the scooter's existing damage before riding off, and keep your passport — give a photocopy instead (some shops insist on the original; avoid these). Wear a helmet; police fine 500 THB for no helmet and accidents without one void insurance.
