Siam Niramit Phuket

4.8(11,781 reviews)

Siam Niramit Phuket is a large-scale performing arts attraction dedicated to showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Thailand through theatrical stage productions. Set within a beautifully decorated venue on Chalermprakiat Ratchakan Thi 9 Road in Ratsada, the show features many performers in traditional costumes, intricate set designs, and storytelling that spans Thailand's regional and historical traditions — all brought together in a single evening experience. Visitors can expect an immersive atmosphere from the moment they arrive, with the outdoor park area available to explore before the main show begins. The grounds themselves draw praise for their decorations and ambience, making the pre-show stroll part of the overall experience. An all-you-can-eat dining option is available on site, with visitors noting a generous variety of food. Staff are noted for their attentiveness and strong English communication, which makes the venue particularly accessible for international travellers visiting Phuket for the first time. The venue opens at 17:30 every day of the week, with shows running until 22:30. Arriving early — close to opening time — allows guests to explore the park grounds before crowds build and provides a more relaxed lead-up to the performance. Booking tickets in advance through the official website is recommended, particularly during peak tourist season in Phuket, to secure preferred seating and any available dining packages.

Visitor Reviews

We must have gone on a good day because it wasn't over crowded. Nice and peaceful strolling around the park. Park opens at 5:30pm we got there just after 5pm only 2 other people there. We went on a Wednesday. I recommend getting tickets online for a cheaper price. We bought tickets with buffet included, the food is really good they have many different options available. I recommend going to get food first so you don't miss anything during the night. We did the buffet first, then 100 year village, then the mini show, then the main show. When you go to the 100 year village go see the boat ride first. It's a extra 50 baht per person and I believe they take 2 people a time. It's a quick 5 minute ride on the river around the houses. You can also walk around try all little snacks, take plenty photos, and make art. When it's time for the mini show that starts at 7:30pm but people will start coming to get good seats around 7pm-7:15pm That was really entertaining I loved the dancing and costumes, they will also invite the audience to join. Then the main show starts at 8:30pm and goes for about 2 hours. Your not allowed photos/videos inside they have security flashing you if you try, but at the end they will allow photos outside you can take with the performers. The main show itself was amazing. People flying, rain and thunder, a river with boats all inside. Also a heads up you may get called on stage. We bought the gold seats now you don't get to pick which seat specifically to sit you can only pick the section. We had pretty good seats, we were in Gold G3 but I would try getting seats in G1 for closer seats to the stage but at some point they will perform in the audience and they'll be behind you so maybe get Platum seats so you don't miss that. I'm not sure how well the people at the back could see because the stage is quite far away I think they should use a big screen for the people in the back row since we can't take photos to zoom in on the play. Overall it was a great night I definitely recommend.

Siam Niramit was an absolutely awesome experience—far more impressive than I had even imagined. From the moment we entered, everything felt magical. The decorations and overall vibe are spot on: stunning costumes, vibrant colours, beautiful statues, and detailed setups that truly transport you into Thai culture. The food was across the board simply delicious. Considering it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet, the quality and variety are impressive, though the vegetarian options are a bit limited. Please note that food and cameras are not allowed inside the theatre. Overall, you should plan to spend around 3 hours here, including dinner, the show, and exploring the surroundings. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming, which added greatly to the overall experience. The show itself is a delightful way to wrap up the evening. Although recording or taking photos isn’t allowed, it’s absolutely worth experiencing live. We visited on 31st December, and it wasn’t overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My 4-year-old daughter enjoyed it a lot, making it a truly special family outing. Siam Niramit is a must-do in Phuket. Since it’s a little far from the city, it’s best to book your transportation and show tickets in advance to avoid any hassle.

Gorgeous experience. I was left super super impressed, way more than I even imagined. Food is across the board simply delicious with a decent amount of options, and considering it's all you can eat buffet, it's amazing. The people are all genuinely kind and friendly, the decorations and overall vibe are definitely there, the costumes, the colours, the statues, everything. And then the show is a delightful experience to close everything up. You cannot record or take photos but it's absolutely worth it. Not too many people overall the day we've been here which made it all even more enjoyable as I don't know how crazy and crowded it can become during the peak season. Absolutely a must do in Phuket.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture

Dress Modestly

Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.

Mind Your Feet

Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.

Ask Before Photographing

Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
