Junkyard Theatre Phuket (Dinner Show & Cabaret)
Tucked into the Ratsada district of Phuket, this dinner show and cabaret venue has carved out a genuinely distinctive identity on an island with no shortage of entertainment options. The entire space — sets, décor, and staging — is constructed from repurposed junk, creating an atmosphere that is colourful, inventive, and unlike anything else in the region. The effect is immediately striking, and the creativity of the physical environment sets the tone before the performance even begins. The show itself is a high-production affair, with the crew delivering considerable energy across lighting, music, choreography, and special effects from start to finish. The humour is good-natured and accessible, landing well with both international visitors and Thai audiences. Food is served alongside the entertainment and is widely regarded by visitors as a genuine part of the experience rather than a secondary consideration — the meal holds its own alongside the spectacle. Good to know: Dinner shows run on set schedules and the venue fills up quickly, particularly during peak tourist season. Booking in advance is strongly recommended, as walk-ins risk missing out entirely. Specific opening hours are not listed online, so reaching out directly to the venue or booking through a local tour operator is the most reliable way to confirm show times and secure a seat before making the trip out to Ratsada.

Visitor Reviews
An unforgettable night!! Junkyard Theatre Phuket is hands-down one of the most fun, entertaining nights you can have in Phuket. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric — quirky, colourful and buzzing with energy. The dance, acting and humour were absolutely outstanding. The performers are insanely talented — high-energy choreography, sharp comedic timing and expressive acting had us laughing nonstop. The show itself is a clever, fast-paced mash-up of pop culture, music, satire and visual spectacle, all tied together with hilarious storytelling and unexpected twists. Every scene was creative, bold and entertaining, and the audience interaction made it even more fun. You could feel how much passion and effort goes into every detail — costumes, lighting, music and performances were all top-tier. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, full of flavour and served seamlessly alongside the show. It genuinely felt like a premium dining experience, not just “dinner with a show.” This is a MUST DO experience in Phuket. Perfect for couples, families, or groups looking for something different, memorable and genuinely entertaining. We were smiling the entire night and talking about it long after it ended. Five stars all the way, don’t miss it!! 🩷💛🩷💛🩷💛🩷💛🩷💛🩷💛🩷

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
