Royal Phawadee Village Hotel
Situated in Patong, this resort hotel offers a lush, garden-filled retreat within easy reach of Patong Beach and the area's wider cultural attractions. Reviewers highlight the well-maintained tropical grounds and pool views as standout features, with several guests describing the property as a calm contrast to the busy beach strip nearby. Rooms are noted as clean and comfortable, and the team is generally described as friendly and professional. Prospective guests should be aware that experiences here are mixed. Alongside positive reviews praising the atmosphere and setting, a number of visitors have reported concerns including staff requesting positive reviews prior to check-in, air conditioning issues, cleanliness problems, and unexpected additional fees. These are worth factoring into any booking decision. Good to know: It is advisable to clarify the full cost of your stay in writing before arrival, including any additional charges, and to confirm your booking directly with the hotel — particularly if travel disruptions are possible. The property is listed under the Temples and Culture category, and its Patong location provides a reasonable base for exploring nearby cultural and spiritual sites, though visitors planning temple visits should dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered.

Visitor Reviews
This place was incredible. The Royal Phawadee Resort feels like a hidden oasis just a few steps from the buzz of Patong Beach. The grounds are lush and beautifully kept, with tropical gardens, winding walkways, and a pool that feels like it belongs in a private villa. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and recently renovated — everything feels fresh and cared for. The staff were warm and attentive without ever being intrusive, which made the stay feel both welcoming and peaceful. The location is unbeatable: close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and markets, but tucked away just enough that it’s quiet when you return. The value for what you get here is amazing — it feels luxurious without being overpriced. I honestly can’t wait to come back.
The hotel is very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend choosing a room with a pool view—it’s truly amazing and very relaxing. The entire team was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Special thanks to all the hotel staff for their excellent service and warm hospitality. 🌟
The first thing the girl at the reception desk asked me before I even saw the room is if I could post a good review on Instagram. Of course without seeing the room first I would not provide any review. She seemed insistent I do. Ab wann checken into my room I realized there was an power available. The repairman was sent to try and fix the problem, which only temporarily provided power. At 2 in the morning in the middle of my sleep I heard a loud popping sound and I immediately knew the breaker had blown and again no power, no air conditioning. I requested they moved me to the new room immediately. The room they moved me to had low water pressure as well as I could hear a very annoying sound on the other side of the wall every 30 seconds. It sounded like a ventilator flapping against the wall, preventing me from getting a good night's rest. The next I asked to be moved into another room. Each room has two umbrellas. I took one of the umbrellas from the previous room out in the rain and returned it to the front lobby to let it dry. When I came back down a few hours later that umbrella was gone. Some other guests must have taken it. And the same person from reception kept telling me that an umbrella was missing from my room, even though I repeatedly tried to explain to her what had happened. I felt she was not very accommodating or perhaps did not understand English very well. The one person that did help me there was a male who I believe was the assistant manager. His help is the only positive review I would give this hotel.
Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
