Royal Chang of Siam Boutique Resort
Tucked away in the Rawai area of Phuket, Royal Chang of Siam Boutique Resort is a small, quietly elegant property comprising seven private bungalows arranged around a generous central pool. The resort is consistently praised for its meticulous upkeep, with beautifully landscaped gardens and spotlessly maintained facilities creating a sense of calm that sets it apart from busier parts of the island. The professional and attentive management team is frequently highlighted by guests as a defining feature of the stay. Visitors can expect a peaceful retreat with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and personal comfort. Daily housekeeping is provided, and the owners are known for going out of their way to ensure guests feel well looked after. The bungalow layout offers a degree of privacy that suits couples and independent travellers seeking a quieter Phuket experience away from the more crowded resort zones. Worth noting is that the resort maintains specific rules around visitor access, so guests should be aware that bringing outside visitors onto the property may not be permitted. Given the small number of bungalows, availability can be limited, and booking well in advance is advisable, particularly during the high season between November and April. As there is no website listed, prospective guests are best served by contacting the property directly or booking through a third-party platform to confirm rates and availability.

Visitor Reviews
A very quiet and beautifully designed resort. The hosts go out of their way to ensure guests are comfortable. The grounds are very well-maintained and kept spotlessly clean. Visitors are not permitted. The pool is small but lovely. The apartments are charmingly furnished. The resort's restaurant and breakfast café are within walking distance. A scooter is also recommended, as it allows you to reach the nearby beach in about 10 minutes.
I was able to spend two weeks in a bungalow. From the staff to the manager, everything was absolutely perfect. The facility is very well maintained and very clean, with daily room cleaning. I've rarely seen anything so beautiful. It's very family-friendly, and Armino has a solution for every problem. Thank you so much for everything, for your friendly hospitality, and I hope to see you soon.
A very well-maintained and quiet resort. 7 bungalows with a bit of privacy, with a large pool in the middle of the complex, appropriate for its size. 🏊♀️ ❗️Beautifully landscaped, well-maintained gardens. Great importance is placed on cleanliness (the bungalows are cleaned 6 times a week). ❗️Nice, friendly, and helpful staff. ❗️In summary: You can feel comfortable and relax here. ❤️
Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
