Royal Twins Palace Hotel
Situated in the heart of Pattaya, Royal Twins Palace Hotel is a long-standing budget property that draws repeat visitors largely on the strength of its central location and practical amenities. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and a lobby bar, making it a self-contained base for exploring one of Thailand's most visited coastal cities. Rooms are described by guests as spacious and clean, with many offering balconies and views that remain a genuine highlight of the stay. The hotel carries the character of an older property that was likely more polished in its heyday, and first-time visitors should set expectations accordingly. The lobby can run warm, and some guests have noted inconsistencies with room allocation at check-in and a repetitive breakfast offering. That said, the friendly staff and generous room sizes continue to win over travellers looking for value over luxury, particularly families and those on extended stays. Practically speaking, guests are advised to confirm their specific room type at the time of booking and follow up directly with the hotel before arrival. There is no in-room safe reported, so travellers carrying valuables may want to plan accordingly. The hotel's location within Pattaya city makes it convenient for reaching local attractions, markets, and the beachfront without relying heavily on transport. It suits budget-conscious travellers who prioritise space and location over premium finishes.

Visitor Reviews
probably Super posh back in its day. . The building is a bit old but still excellent location and amazing views from the room balconies.. The pool is excellent to relax by during the hot days. Depending on the price you pay this is a excellent value if you can get it's at a discount. The rooms are nice but will probably need to be upgraded in the future. Not that I use it but the hair dryer is probably from the late '80s. Overall very happy with my choice of this hotel and I will definitely try to come back if the price is right.
This could be a great hotel, (with a bit more effort)! I’ve stayed here many many times, on my own and as a family of 5, and overall can’t find anywhere in Pattaya that suits us better. It’s a bit dated and the front desk staff can (sometimes) be inattentive. Concierge is also hit and miss, sometimes they acknowledge your presence other times they sleep! None of this surprises me, I have witnessed some rude customers abrupt with staff, but the Thai smile is always welcome by those of us that appreciate the extra effort. The hotel is in a really useful location, is at a good price, has a massive car park, fantastic housekeeping staff (and quality bed linen), with balcony views across the bay. The large swimming pool is really good quality, (it looks like they’ve given the area some love recently), with nice surroundings and waterfall feature. Unfortunately, in the decades I’ve stayed here, the WiFi has always been a weak point. It’s OK for the basics but you won’t run your office from here. Worth a note; there are no room safes, but plenty of proper strong boxes for free in reception, (I’d trust them more than those useless cheapo safes screwed to a flimsy shelf in your room)! We’ll be back.
Mixed feelings about this hotel. First of all, would I return? Yes. It is a cheap hotel in the heart of Pattaya. The rooms are not the newest but it is not as old as you think. The rooms are extremely clean and do not smell whatever you think it smells. Actually the staff are working very hard to make this hotel live again. The lobby is not at its best times but has this 80s-90s 5-star hotels lobbies vibes. If you want a cheap quiet hotel with a big room that is close to the action but also quiet, give this a try. I did not try the breakfast, their pool is big and clean.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
