probably Super posh back in its day. . The building is a bit old but still excellent location and amazing views from the room balconies.. The pool is excellent to relax by during the hot days. Depending on the price you pay this is a excellent value if you can get it's at a discount. The rooms are nice but will probably need to be upgraded in the future. Not that I use it but the hair dryer is probably from the late '80s. Overall very happy with my choice of this hotel and I will definitely try to come back if the price is right.

This could be a great hotel, (with a bit more effort)! I’ve stayed here many many times, on my own and as a family of 5, and overall can’t find anywhere in Pattaya that suits us better. It’s a bit dated and the front desk staff can (sometimes) be inattentive. Concierge is also hit and miss, sometimes they acknowledge your presence other times they sleep! None of this surprises me, I have witnessed some rude customers abrupt with staff, but the Thai smile is always welcome by those of us that appreciate the extra effort. The hotel is in a really useful location, is at a good price, has a massive car park, fantastic housekeeping staff (and quality bed linen), with balcony views across the bay. The large swimming pool is really good quality, (it looks like they’ve given the area some love recently), with nice surroundings and waterfall feature. Unfortunately, in the decades I’ve stayed here, the WiFi has always been a weak point. It’s OK for the basics but you won’t run your office from here. Worth a note; there are no room safes, but plenty of proper strong boxes for free in reception, (I’d trust them more than those useless cheapo safes screwed to a flimsy shelf in your room)! We’ll be back.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. First of all, would I return? Yes. It is a cheap hotel in the heart of Pattaya. The rooms are not the newest but it is not as old as you think. The rooms are extremely clean and do not smell whatever you think it smells. Actually the staff are working very hard to make this hotel live again. The lobby is not at its best times but has this 80s-90s 5-star hotels lobbies vibes. If you want a cheap quiet hotel with a big room that is close to the action but also quiet, give this a try. I did not try the breakfast, their pool is big and clean.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture

Dress Modestly

Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.

Mind Your Feet

Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.

Ask Before Photographing

Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
