Harmony Hub Pai
Harmony Hub Pai is a creative studio and café tucked just outside the centre of Pai, offering hands-on art workshops alongside a warm, unhurried atmosphere that has made it a favourite among visitors to this northern Thai mountain town. Despite being listed under cultural attractions, it is primarily an arts and crafts destination where guests can throw pottery on a wheel, try linoprinting, and explore other creative pursuits guided by the friendly owners, who are consistently praised for their patience and welcoming manner. Visitors can drop in for a day pass to work independently on creative projects, join a structured workshop, or simply settle in with a coffee or homemade food while drawing inspiration from the space around them. The studio attracts a mix of travellers and working artists, giving it a genuinely communal feel. Occasional canine visitors add to the relaxed, informal character of the place. The food on offer is homemade and well-regarded by guests. Good to know: Workshops such as wheel throwing and linoprinting are hands-on and suitable for beginners, but it is worth arriving with some time to spare or contacting the studio in advance to check availability and session times, as no website or listed hours are currently available online. Asking your accommodation in Pai for up-to-date information is a practical first step.

Visitor Reviews
🏺 A magical spot in Pai! You can enjoy both the café itself and the wonderful pottery classes they offer. The owners are simply lovely it’s such a pleasant place to be. They’re an amazing couple who host with warmth and have a truly unique story to share❤️❤️❤️ I took a ceramic painting class on a ready made piece, since I wasn’t staying in Pai long enough to wait for my own creation to be fired, and I absolutely loved it. Maya is such a sweet and charming instructor, and the whole experience was really fun. They were flexible and let us stay longer so we could finish our pieces properly, and the next day everything was already ready. Highly recommended to visit, experience, and get to know this special place and of course, try one of the workshops!👏🏼
this pottery studio was the highlight of my stay in Pai! Such a lovely chilled atmosphere just outside of the busy town centre, a little oasis with lots of fun workshops. I spent 2 days here doing pottery using their day pass (THB 150) in their very well equipped studio. Sushi, the guy who runs the place, is a great host and makes everyone feel very welcome! there’s also a cute cafe on site ☀️
We had a really nice, relaxed day at Harmony Hub Pai. We got the day pass and made a linoprint.. it had been a long time since I’d done one, so I’d forgotten the steps. Sushi took the time to explain everything clearly. The Sushi and Clem were both very welcoming. We enjoyed one of Clementine’s cakes (coming back for more soon 😉). We’ll be back, and next time we’ll bring some friends
Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
