Visitor Reviews
This beach is a must-visit if you are in the area. This is one of the most amazing beaches I've visited around the world. Much better than Railay beach and definitely one of the best in Thailand. The rock formation emerging from the water is huge and very impressive. The water is crystal clear with a turquoise hue. I recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid the crowds and get a place in the shade under the trees, which is rather limited. The tide is pretty low at that time, but it's enough for swimming. It's an easy short 15-minute walk from Railay East. There are no facilities on the beach, which make it feel a bit more wild, so come prepared.
A beach that has so much to offer! Don’t hesitate to take the path towards this beach; It might look like crossing the jungle from map view but it’s a superb easy + paved walk alongside a limestone wall completed with tree roots and unique features to look at while getting there! And once there, everyone can find their perfect beach settings! Full sun or under the shade, breezy or wind protected, this beach has it all!! I suggest that you walk towards north end once on the beach to explore :) I just love this beach!!! It is my favorite beach in the world!
This is probably one of the best beaches in Krabi Province. You can get here by long-tail speedboat for 200 baht during the day. You just have to take the boat to West Railay Beach and walk from there. The sand by the water is soft and nice, and the water is clear and blue, unlike some of the other nearby beaches. The only downsides are that the sand under the cave overhang in the shaded areas isn’t as nice, and the resident monkeys will steal any plastic bags, so hide your food well or don’t bring any at all.

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
