Visitor Reviews
I recently traveled through Krabi Airport and overall had a smooth and pleasant experience, even though the airport itself feels a bit empty and quiet at times. The check-in process was very fast and efficient, and we had no problems with our luggage — everything was handled without stress. Parking was also easy and convenient, which made arriving at the terminal very straightforward. Inside the airport, the food court offers a mix of western food options as well as Thai dishes, so there is enough variety for different tastes. There are also many small shops, snack stands, and cafés throughout the terminal, which is practical if you want to grab something before your flight. Prices are typical for Thai airports — for example, the cheapest bottle of water was around 35 baht, which is still reasonable compared to many international airports. The staff we met were friendly and helpful, and both the security check and the boarding process were quick and well organized. Everything worked smoothly from arrival to departure. However, the airport does feel a bit empty and somewhat minimal in terms of atmosphere and facilities. It is functional and efficient, but it lacks the lively feeling and variety you might find in larger airports. Overall, Krabi Airport is clean, easy to navigate, and very efficient — a comfortable place to travel through, even if it feels a little quiet. For me, this is a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
Krabi Airport is a small and simple airport, but it is well managed. The staff is very polite and helpful, which makes the experience smooth. The airport is neat and clean, and the washrooms are very well maintained. All basic facilities are available, making it comfortable for travelers. Overall, a clean and pleasant airport for a hassle-free journey
A compact, modern airport that does exactly what it needs to do. Handles both international and domestic flights without any of the chaos you might expect from busier Thai airports. Security and check-in were straightforward—not lightning fast, but the relatively quiet atmosphere means you're not battling crowds either. Shopping is minimal, mostly food-focused, but honestly that's fine. There's a decent mix of options if you need to grab something before your flight. The terminal is clean and reasonably comfortable for a quick transition through. That said, I wouldn't want to be stuck here for an extended layover. It's built for efficiency, not lingering. Get in, get through, get to your beach—which is probably why you're flying into Krabi anyway. Perfect gateway airport for the region. Just don't arrive hours early expecting entertainment.

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
