Krabi grand place
Despite being listed under Temples & Culture, Krabi Grand Place is in practice a budget accommodation option situated on Napajarus Road in Krabi town. It caters to travellers seeking affordable, no-frills lodging as a base for exploring the wider Krabi region. The property offers basic rooms with air conditioning and private bathrooms, and reviewers note that for the price point, the value is reasonable. Guests can expect a straightforward two-star experience. Rooms are described as adequately clean with functional air conditioning, and the reception staff have been noted for their helpfulness. The property is better suited to travellers who prioritise cost savings over comfort or location, as it sits away from the main beaches and popular attractions, meaning transport costs should be factored into any budget calculations. Good to know: The hotel is open around the clock, making it suitable for late arrivals or early departures. The distance from Krabi's beaches and town attractions is a consistent point raised by guests, so travellers without their own transport should account for taxi or motorbike rental costs when weighing up overall value. Those with access to a bicycle or hired motorbike will find the distance less of an issue. Check the Facebook page for current room availability and pricing before booking.

Visitor Reviews
It's good place clean beds and the muslim girl in reception tooo good to help she is amazing thankyou looking forward to seeing you soon
For a 2 Star Hotel the price and offered Performance was good (7 nights about 80€ for a 2 bed room). The room was clean and the wardrobe was big enough for a longer stay. The City Center IS about 3-4 km away from the Hotel can be easily reached by a Bolt Taxi in 5-10 minutes. Only minus Point is that I Had a room at the Main Street so I recommend for the stay some earplugs for a good Sleep (Sometimes the Traffic was noisy). Washing machine is available in the Hotel. I Had a Nice stay in Krabi :-)
This place doesn’t deserve all the bad review I’ve seen. My experience was ok. Not the best but good enough for the price I paid. It’s not dirty, AC is working good, bathroom as well

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
