Eagle sculpture
This eye-catching sculpture by a renowned Thai artist stands as one of Krabi town's most recognisable landmarks, positioned along the waterfront where the river meets a backdrop of dramatic limestone cliffs. The piece draws both locals and visitors, and its bold, modern form makes it a natural focal point for anyone exploring the area on foot. The surrounding grounds are well-maintained, with walkways, benches, and mature trees offering shade and a pleasant place to linger. One side faces the open water and natural scenery, while the other looks back toward the town, giving the site an appealing contrast between nature and urban life. A small beach area nearby adds to the setting, and the combination of the sculpture, river, and mountain scenery makes it a popular spot for photography. The Eagle Sculpture is conveniently located next to a public parking area, making it a practical stop for those arriving by vehicle. It sits close to Krabi's night market, so visiting in the late afternoon or early evening allows travellers to pair a stop here with the broader town experience. As an open-air public attraction, it is accessible throughout the day and suits a relaxed, self-guided visit of around fifteen to thirty minutes.

Visitor Reviews
Such an artistic piece of art. It's really nice sculpture. I felt like in an art museum. Definitely must see!
Lovely modern sculptural installation by the famous Thai artist.
A nice landmark to stop by if you’re exploring Krabi town. The Eagle Sculpture is striking and makes for a good photo spot, especially with the river and mountains in the background. It’s not a major attraction, but it’s worth a quick visit if you’re nearby. There are benches around and it’s a peaceful place to relax for a bit. Best visited in the evening when it’s cooler and the lighting is better for photos.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
