Gingerfire Restaurant
Gingerfire Restaurant sits within the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa on Soi Naresdamri, offering an elevated evening dining experience in one of Hua Hin's most established resort properties. The restaurant draws both hotel guests and outside visitors looking for a refined dinner setting that feels calm and unhurried compared to the busier spots along the beachfront. The space features high ceilings and considered decor that lends a relaxed yet polished atmosphere. Visitors consistently highlight the quality of the Thai dishes and the buffet selection, describing the food as genuinely delicious rather than merely adequate for a hotel restaurant. Service is a recurring talking point in guest feedback, with staff noted for being attentive, warm, and perceptive about guest preferences — the kind of personalised attention that makes an evening feel considered rather than transactional. The restaurant also serves beverages during afternoon hours, making it a viable stop for coffee or smoothies outside the main dinner service. Good to know: Gingerfire operates dinner service daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, so it is strictly an evening dining destination with no lunch service available. The restaurant is located within a resort complex, which means parking is accessible and the surroundings are well-maintained. Smart casual attire suits the atmosphere. Reservations are advisable during the peak season between November and February, and during weekends year-round. Dining offers and booking options are available through the resort's dedicated dining page.

Visitor Reviews
I rarely write a second review of the same restaurant, but this visit to Gingerfire at Hilton Hua Hin genuinely warranted it. I already shared a positive review about six months ago; however, after this experience, I felt compelled to return with a new one using my secondary Google profile. We chose Gingerfire to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and the entire arrangement was made with barely one hour’s notice. Despite this, the staff managed to create something that felt both thoughtful and carefully curated rather than improvised. We were given a beautifully arranged table and, exactly as requested, a small private-style buffet with a varied selection of dishes. Two cakes were prepared—one chocolate and one vanilla—both personalized with my mother’s name, accompanied by fresh fruit presented with great care. While the food was very good and elegantly displayed, the most memorable aspect of the evening was, without hesitation, the staff. Their engagement went far beyond professional courtesy. Someone had taken the time to hand-draw a personalized birthday card for my mother, a gesture that felt genuinely heartfelt rather than performative. To our surprise, the team also gathered to sing a birthday song for her, turning what was already a special dinner into a deeply emotional moment. Service throughout the evening was attentive without being intrusive. Staff members anticipated needs, checked in at exactly the right moments, and handled everything with warmth and ease. There was a strong sense that they were not merely following a service script but actively participating in making the celebration meaningful. Experiences like this illustrate what hospitality at its best can be: not just good food in a pleasant setting, but an environment where care, flexibility, and human connection are clearly valued. Gingerfire once again delivered excellent quality, but this time it was the people who truly made the evening unforgettable. Thank you khun Lalita, Banana and the rest (sorry not see the names) for everything ❤️
Our afternoon smoothie-and-coffee break at Ginger Fire Restaurant at the Hilton Hua Hin was fantastic! My husband went for the coconut coffee, and I ordered the coconut smoothie — which absolutely delighted my inner 6-year-old. We also discovered a special Thai appetizer that was so refreshing and bursting with flavor it could wake you up better than any coffee in the world. A true one-bite wonder! I can’t remember the name… but honestly, I’d go back just for that dish alone. The other snacks we tried were superb as well — Ginger Fire might just become one of our new favorite little indulgences in Hua Hin.
We felt like we received special treatment during our 5-night stay. Especially, Miss Fern took great care of us — she understood our preferences even without us saying anything and made sure we could enjoy our meals comfortably. The breakfast restaurant was truly amazing, with delicious food and a wide variety of dishes — it was the best breakfast we’ve ever had.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
