Walk In Cafe
Situated along Naresuan Road in central Ayutthaya, Walk In Cafe draws both travellers and locals with its broad menu spanning breakfast staples, full meals, and an unusually extensive dessert selection. The brightly lit facade makes it easy to spot from the street, and the cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating, giving it a spacious, welcoming feel that suits a quick stop or a longer rest between temple visits. The kitchen is particularly noted for its freshly made toast, pancakes, and crepes, alongside a wide range of ice creams and desserts that visitors find hard to resist. The menu balances Thai and international options, the food is well-presented, and the staff are consistently described as friendly and courteous. Portions and prices sit comfortably in the mid-range, making it a practical choice without feeling like a compromise on quality. Walk In Cafe opens at 9:00 AM and stays open until 8:30 PM every day of the week, which makes it a reliable option for any meal during a day of sightseeing. Its location near Ayutthaya's main road means it is straightforward to reach whether on foot or by tuk-tuk. Those planning to visit during lunch or early evening on weekends may want to arrive a little ahead of the rush, as the combination of a central location and strong reputation means it can get busy. The Facebook page is worth checking for any updates to hours or seasonal specials.

Visitor Reviews
One of the best restaurants that I have experienced since coming to Thailand. The menu had interesting selections and the food was delicious. The staff were all kind and courteous and the presentation was fabulous. I will actually be visiting this restaurant again tomorrow, because I was that impressed. I would highly recommend visiting this spot if you ever visit the Land of Smiles.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
