Filthy Pilot Social Club
Tucked away on Soi 94 in Hua Hin, Filthy Pilot Social Club is an aviation-themed bar and lounge that has built a loyal following among locals and travellers alike. The interior doubles as a small gallery, and the decor creates an atmosphere that feels distinctly curated — more intimate social club than standard beach-town bar. The owner has a reputation for making guests feel immediately welcome, which goes a long way in establishing the place as a genuine community spot rather than just another tourist watering hole. Cocktails are a clear highlight here, with visitors consistently singling them out as exceptional. The music strikes a balance between energetic and conversational — loud enough to set a mood, but not so overwhelming that you cannot hold a discussion. On Friday nights, a resident DJ takes over with sets focused on progressive house and melodic techno, giving the venue a noticeably different energy compared to quieter midweek evenings. For those planning a first visit, Friday nights are the obvious choice if you want the full DJ experience and a livelier crowd. If a more relaxed evening is the priority, a weeknight visit lets you better appreciate the gallery, the cocktail list, and the unhurried atmosphere. The bar sits slightly off the main strip, so it rewards those willing to seek it out.

Visitor Reviews
I am relatively new to HuaHin about a year now. One night a few months ago I was asked to meet some friends at this lovely spot. The owner greeted me like we were old friends. I’ve been back to listen to blues and have their tacos on a couple of occasions. If you are looking for a chill place to relax and enjoy really nicely decorated place play some pool or air hockey with friends I could recommend a better spot in HH.
Love this place! Drinks, music, staff, decorations, atmosphere, interior, and the DJ are superb! they also have the small gallery inside which is very interesting. The music is not too loud, I was so happy talking and really enjoy the conversation there. Definitely will be my favorite spot in Huahin. Trust me, if you’re looking for some place to talk and chill, filthy pilot social club will be your best option. 👍
Found this gem of a bar in Hua Hin. Every Friday night, they have a DJ playing the best progressive house and melodic techno. Amazing decor. Great atmosphere. This is my new Friday night bar. If you like things progressive and melodic, then you would be mad not to come and visit the Filthy Pilot. Brad and Tan are amazing.
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
