Rong Krua Market
Rong Krua Market is a sizeable community market in Tha Muang district, serving both locals and passing travellers with an unusually broad range of goods under one roof. Beyond the expected fresh produce, meats, and prepared street food typical of a Thai wet market, vendors here stock clothing, sportswear, blankets, specialist tools, welding equipment, and catering supplies — the kind of practical, hard-to-find inventory that sets it apart from more tourist-oriented markets in the Kanchanaburi region. The atmosphere is bustling and functional rather than curated for visitors, which is precisely its appeal. Shoppers move through stalls packed with everyday goods at competitive prices, and a small coffee shop near the entrance offers a comfortable spot to pause. The variety means repeat visits often turn up something new, and travellers with a flexible itinerary may find it worth more than a quick browse. The market opens daily at 8:00 AM, running until 6:00 PM on weekdays and 7:00 PM on Sundays. Morning hours tend to offer the freshest produce and a livelier atmosphere. Prices are generally affordable, though comparing between stalls is worthwhile before purchasing. Comfortable, breathable clothing is recommended given the warm conditions, and a reusable bag is handy if shopping is on the agenda. The Facebook page listed on their profile is the most reliable source for any updates on trading hours or closures.

Visitor Reviews
A huge market. As well as the expected items like shoes and clothes some sellers specialise in items not easy to find in other places. Specialist tools and welding equipment. Catering and cooking products Items suitable for market traders or shops, for example racks to display clothes.
I passed by this market of a lot of things from food, shirts and even car tools and accessories with a lot of wonderful selections with affordable prices. So sad I was not able to get photos nor video of this market place.
Notice a small coffee shop at right hand side from the entrance with the eye catching title. Walk inside the environment are very comfy. Is recommended...

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
