Long Beach Koh Phi Phi
Long Beach occupies the less crowded side of Koh Phi Phi, offering the island's signature turquoise water and soft sand without the congestion of the Ton Sai area. The beach stretches along a generous strip of shoreline backed by dense vegetation, with the clear, calm water drawing consistent praise from visitors. The limestone cliffs that frame the surroundings add to the visual appeal that Phi Phi is known for throughout the region. Getting here requires a small amount of planning. A longtail boat from the main Phi Phi pier costs around 100 baht per person and is the more comfortable option. Walking from Ton Sai takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes, though visitors consistently report the route feels considerably longer than it looks on a map, especially in the heat. Once on the beach, facilities remain basic, and longtail boats operating close to shore can disrupt the atmosphere in busier sections — walking further along the shoreline tends to reward those looking for a calmer spot. Good to know: Water levels drop noticeably in the afternoon due to tidal changes, which affects swimming conditions, so a morning visit is generally the better choice. The dry season running from November through April brings the clearest water and most settled seas. Reef-safe sunscreen is recommended, and water shoes may be useful in rockier sections along the shore.

Visitor Reviews
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Phi Phi is absolutely stunning – the whole area is just incredible. Beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water and an amazing island atmosphere. The viewpoint is a must-do: the view over the island and the bays is breathtaking and totally worth it. From the beach to the viewpoints, everything feels special and unique. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited – highly recommended!
Beautiful beach to take a bath with the turquoise water! Just to note that in the afternoon the level of the water is lower! You have to walk around 20 minutes from Ton Sai to get here but it is a really nice walk that it’s worth it! You have a few restaurants and bars to get something over there!
Long beach is beautiful clear water beach. It is worth visiting. You can either take a 100 bhat (day time) long tail boat to the beach or can walk for 20-25 min to reach there. The beach is open for all but it has only one beautiful restaurant belongs to the resort. You can enjoy the beach from the restaurant, it is open for all. I didn’t give it a 5 star because of a limited food option and the beach has limited space. During peak time it may feel over crowded.

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
