Must Try Bangkok Tours
Based in the Khlong San district near the Chao Phraya River, Must Try Bangkok Tours specialises in bicycle and food tours that take visitors away from the city's busiest tourist corridors and into the quieter, more residential streets of Thonburi. The focus is on local culture, hidden neighbourhood spots, and authentic Thai food — offering a ground-level perspective of Bangkok that most travellers miss when sticking to major landmarks. Tours are led by named local guides and are well-suited to a range of fitness levels, with routes described by visitors as almost entirely flat. Groups of varying sizes are accommodated, and the combination of cycling and eating makes for an immersive half-day experience. The Thonburi side of the river provides a noticeably slower pace than central Bangkok, with tree-lined lanes, community temples, and working neighbourhoods that rarely appear on standard itineraries. Good to know: Tours run every day of the week from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, so both morning and late-afternoon departures are possible. Booking in advance through the official website at must-trybangkok.com is recommended, particularly for larger groups or during peak travel seasons. Lightweight, comfortable clothing suitable for cycling is advisable, and no serious cycling experience is required.

Visitor Reviews
This bicycle tour was an amazing experience from start to finish. Riding around Thonburi gave me a completely different perspective of the city peaceful lanes, hidden local spots, and beautiful community life that you wouldn’t see otherwise. Exploring the local markets was a highlight. I got to try authentic street food, learn about local ingredients, and experience everyday life up close. Meeting new people along the way made the journey even more special everyone was warm and welcoming. The home-cooked meal was absolutely delicious and felt very personal, like being welcomed into someone’s home. It truly added a cultural and emotional touch to the whole experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see the real local side of Bangkok and create meaningful memories.
This bike and food tour was a wonderful way to explore an otherwise quiet and lowkey part of Bangkok. We had a large group (8 of us) and Sky and Aye flawlessly helped us get acquainted with our bikes before we set off for the 4.5 hour tour. We stopped at nice food stalls, saw some wonderful temples, and tried delicious fruit. This was perfect, because when I travel, I love to eat and bike my way through the cities I happen to visit. So when this tour came up as a recommendation on Airbnb, I jumped at the opportunity. Sky and Aye would be great hosts and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Incredible experience! This tour beat all of my expectations! It was so interesting and fun to explore the blend of local culture and food in the quiet neighbourhood of Bangkok. I would never visit these locations without this tour. We saw so many hidden gems and tried delicious food at some of the local spots. The tour was run extremely smoothly, the organizers were great guiding the group and a lot of fun to talk to. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes biking and wants to visit Bangkok!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
