Visitor Reviews
A fun and memorable aquarium experience in Pattaya! The 100 m underwater tunnel with sharks, rays, and colorful fish makes you feel like you’re walking under the sea. The feeding shows and interactive zones are especially great for kids and families. If you book tickets online, you can get it cheaper too. Perfect for a relaxed indoor activity, worth visiting in Pattaya.
Underwater World Pattaya is very nice to take your children to. They have a tunnel you can walk through and it’s divided into 3 parts showcasing different types of fish. If you want to avoid the crowds make sure to go there early.
The three main aquariums were pretty cool and it is fun to see the fish overhead when you go through the tunnel. There were a lot of portions under construction and the aquariums didnt have any live coral or plants, which was disappointing. However, there were some large fish that look like they had been there for a long time while there was a couple jellyfish tanks that looked like they were all dead. If you read the board and look at everything, it will take 45 minutes to an hour. Although I liked it, I was also disappointed at the disrepair, lack of live coral and vegetation, and the amount of renovations.

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
