Nong Nooch Dinosaur Valley
Nong Nooch Dinosaur Valley sits within the acclaimed Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Sattahip District, south of Pattaya, and offers an unexpected combination of prehistoric spectacle and lush landscaped grounds. Life-sized dinosaur sculptures are scattered throughout a dedicated themed area, ranging from large to small species, and visitors consistently note the quality and detail of the replicas. The experience extends beyond the dinosaur section itself, with botanical greenhouses accessible by bus ride and garden pathways that reward unhurried exploration. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-oriented, making it a popular choice for parents travelling with children, though the visual appeal and scale of the exhibits draw visitors of all ages. Guests typically spend between two and four hours on site depending on how much of the broader garden they explore alongside the dinosaur valley. The setting is predominantly outdoor, so the experience is closely tied to the tropical Pattaya climate. Visiting in the morning or later in the afternoon helps manage the midday heat more comfortably. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended, as the grounds cover considerable distance. The attraction is open every day from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no closures on weekends or public holidays noted. Admission pricing and any current package options are best confirmed directly through the official website at nongnoochpattaya.com/en/dinosaur before visiting, as the dinosaur valley is one section within a larger ticketed garden complex.

Visitor Reviews
What a wonderful dinosaur park. Had lots of fun there. One should visit when you go to Thailand.
Dinosaur Valley Date of visit: 2025 Dec 22. Time of visit: 1:15 pm to 4:35 pm. Overall: 9/10. Sight Seeing / Activity: 10. Indoor and Outdoor Ventilation: 8. Ambience: 10. Location: 8. Expected activity 2 to 4 hours. Note: "Dinosaur Avenue" (as shown on the online map) is the main highlight of Dinosaur Valley and Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, although the physical signboard indicates "Dinosaur Valley". To me, the junction between the Dinosaur Valley and Dinosaur Avenue is like a "central junction" of Dinosaur Valley. There are various amenities at the junction, such as the Sightseeing Bus Station where visitors alight and board the bus, Dinosaur Coffee (sells food, drinks, souvenirs and provides an air conditioned space for visitors to find relief from the sun), toilet and an overhead sheltered bridge that leads back to Butterfly Hill (another "central hub") which is close to the entrance of Nongnooch Pattaya Garden. Sight Seeing / Activity: Dinosaur Valley is the attraction with the largest number of dinosaurs, the widest variety of dinosaur species and the biggest dinosaur models I have ever seen. According to the website I viewed on 01 Jan 2026, Nongnooch Pattaya Garden has over 230 species and 814 dinosaurs. The Dinosaur Valley deserves a 10/10 full rating based on the scale, magnitude, visual impact and overall experience. I recommend taking the sightseeing bus to Dinosaur Valley, as the bus drives through a road lined with dinosaurs on both sides for about 5 mins before reaching the "central junction" between Dinosaur Valley and "Dinosaur Avenue" (as shown on the online map). Once you alight from the sightseeing bus, there are a few routes to explore, and some of them loop back, allowing flexible exploration: (1) Dinosaur Avenue "Main Road": Both sides of the road are flanked by gigantic towering Sauropods (such as Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Giraffatitan), huge Theropods (such as Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex), Spinosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Gorgosaurus), Ornithischians (such as Anchiceratops, Diabloceratops, Regaliceratops) and more. On the right of the "Main Road", there are a few dinosaurs in French Garden 2 (such as Sinraptor, Ostafrikasaurus). The "Main Road" joins / loops back to the "Left Road", and there is also an uphill path that joins / loops back to Dinosaur Valley. Taking this uphill path leads to more dinosaurs (such as Dilophosaurus, Galleonosaurus, Mongolgiant, Sinosaurus), as well as sharks. At the hill top, there is an open grass patch offering an elevated and wide open view of French Garden 2 and Dinosaur Avenue. (2) Dinosaur Avenue "Left Road": Located on the left of the "Main Road", both sides of the road are lined with dinosaurs (such as Ichtyhovenator, Berberozaur, Suskityrannus, Dynamoterror). The "Left Road" eventually joins / loops back to the "Main Road". Before rejoining, visitors can climb up a flight of stairs to a golden Royal Pavilion, an elevated sheltered spot which provides shade, a place to rest, good views and an opportunity to enjoy the cool breeze. (3) Dinosaur Valley: This uphill path is also flanked by dinosaurs on both sides (such as Ankylosaurus, Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor). At the first peak, there is a pair of T-Rex, along with eggs and a baby T-Rex. Continuing uphill leads to same open grass patch mentioned earlier. (4) Parallel Road under the Sheltered bridge: This road runs parallel to the sheltered bridge that leads back to Butterfly Hill. This road leads to French Garden 1 title displayed where Oxalaia. More dinosaurs can be seen here (such as Allosaurus, Sinotyrannus, Utahraptor). (5) Road that is roughly "parallel" to Dinosaur Valley: There is Scutosaurus and Gorgonopsids at the corner of this road, with more dinosaurs lining both sides (such as Albertosaurus, Baryonyx, Pentaceratops, Szechanosaurus).
Dinosaur Valley is located inside the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Pattaya, and it is considered one of the most attractive sections for visitors, especially families and children. Concept and Design • The valley was opened in 2017 to recreate the world of prehistory. • It features more than 180 life-sized dinosaur models, carefully designed to reflect their forms and postures from different eras. • The models are made of fiberglass with realistic details in color and texture, giving visitors a genuine sense of stepping back millions of years. Species on Display • The site showcases statues of famous species such as Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and more. • Some models are arranged in family groups to illustrate interaction between creatures, while others are posed dynamically (running or fighting) to enhance both educational and entertaining aspects. Visitor Experience • The area is designed as a wide open walkway that allows visitors to walk among the dinosaurs and take photos from close distances. • It serves as a perfect spot for family photos and educational adventures for children. • The valley is also used as an educational tool to explain the history of dinosaurs, their evolution, and extinction, presented in a simple visual way that combines knowledge and entertainment. Overall Atmosphere • The site is enhanced with natural elements such as rocks and tropical plants to make the setting more authentic. • With night lighting, the valley transforms into a striking visual display, where the dinosaurs appear in a dramatic scene that evokes life.

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
