Peace Garden Resort
Tucked away in the Bo Put area of Koh Samui, Peace Garden Resort is a quiet, garden-set property that offers a calm alternative to the island's busier coastal strips. Guests consistently highlight the warm, attentive staff as a standout feature, along with clean and comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, and freshly prepared food that has drawn particular praise for its quality and presentation. The resort suits travellers looking for a relaxed base from which to explore Koh Samui, with its location rated highly by guests for being peaceful while remaining close to local amenities. A moped makes getting around straightforward. Rooms are modest rather than luxurious, and the property leans more toward comfortable and welcoming than high-end, making it a practical choice for those prioritising value and atmosphere over resort-style facilities. Good to know: The resort is a small, independently run property, so a personal and attentive hosting style is part of the experience. Prospective guests are advised to book directly or check current rates carefully, as some visitors have felt pricing varies. The cooler, drier months of November through February offer the most comfortable conditions for enjoying the garden surroundings and outdoor areas.

this hotel is very nice! its not the most prestigious one but the value for the price is great (though i think we got some nice discount.) lovely rooms, giant bathrooms, cool swimming pool. especially loved staff’s hospitality! they were taking care of us in beautiful ways: extra tea bags when they noticed we drink a lot of tea, fixing up a teared book cover, they even gave us a helmet to replace the one we lost. very happy about our stay here!

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
