NH Collection Samui Peace Resort

4.6(1,378 reviews)

Nestled in the quieter Bo Put area of Koh Samui, this beachfront resort hotel offers a genuine sense of escape from the island's busier stretches. Guests arrive to a tree-lined driveway that signals an immediate shift in atmosphere, with the property delivering a calm, well-maintained environment that feels removed from the noise of surrounding streets. Superior villas, a relaxed pool area, and direct beach access form the core of the experience, with the shoreline notably uncrowded compared to more popular parts of the island. The resort strikes a balance between modern comfort and authentic Thai touches, and the staff receive consistent praise from visitors for their attentiveness and warmth. The overall atmosphere encourages unhurried stays, making it particularly well-suited to those looking to slow down rather than follow a packed itinerary. Its location in Bo Put also places guests within reach of local temples and cultural sites that reflect Koh Samui's Buddhist heritage. Good to know: Bo Put sits on the north coast of Koh Samui and tends to attract a quieter, more relaxed crowd than the southern and western beaches. The cool season between November and February offers the most comfortable conditions for both beach time and exploring nearby cultural sites. Visitors planning temple excursions should pack clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Booking in advance is advisable during peak season, particularly for beachfront villa options.

Visitor Reviews

As soon as you enter the drive way of the hotel you have the feeling of entering a different world. You are greeted with an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity compared to the busy and noisy streets. Upon arrival, which was a couple of hours earlier than the usual check-in, we were greeted by the staff, given information about what to do around the island and told an earlier check-in was possible at 10 am. And at exactly 10 am we were taken to our garden view villa. The hotel complex with the overall greenery and the room integrate perfectly with the whole vibe of the hotel. The room was always clean and the cleaning staff always left small amenities. They really cleaned with attention to the detail making us feel very comfortable. What we want to highlight the most is the extremely friendly and attentive staff. We didn’t have one bad experience and felt always looked after, very well treated and welcome. Everyone was always respectful and all smiles. We especially want to mention Taew and Erica for their amazing work, their extremely friendly nature, kindness and attentiveness. We appreciate your work and dedication and wish you all the best!

really is a peace resort. it’s wonderful, the staff is lovely, you feel like you’re in paradise. we stayed in a superior villa for 4 nights, and was truly amazing. the beach is quite, there are a lot of sun beds, the breakfast is excellent, and the view is breathtaking. the hotel area is beautiful, very green, like a movie. one more thing to highlight is their spa. we went several times and Kong, one of the massage specialists is the best specialist I’ve ever met. we’ve been several massage places all over Thailand, and this place, especially Kong was the best one. this hotel is highly recommended if you would like to experience something special.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place is calm, quiet, and perfect if you just want to slow down and relax. The beachfront is lovely, not crowded, and the whole resort feels peaceful without trying too hard. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, housekeeping did a great job every day. Staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to, which made everything feel smooth from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was good with enough variety to start the day right. Overall, it felt like a well-run resort that focuses on comfort and good service rather than being overly flashy. Would happily come back again.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture

Dress Modestly

Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.

Mind Your Feet

Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.

Ask Before Photographing

Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
