carhenge
Tucked along a road in the Bo Phloi district of Kanchanaburi, this unusual roadside attraction draws curious travellers with its eclectic open-air display of cars in various shapes, sizes, and states — arranged in a way that speaks more to artistic vision than conventional exhibition. The setting is well-maintained, with workers keeping the grounds clean, and the whole arrangement carries the unmistakable stamp of a passionate, creative owner. Visitors can expect a relaxed, self-guided experience wandering among the vehicles and other oddities scattered across the property. There is no entrance fee, which makes it an easy and rewarding detour for anyone passing through the region. The atmosphere is informal and unhurried, appealing particularly to those who appreciate outsider art, automotive culture, or simply the unexpected. Several visitors note it pairs well with a stop at the nearby Grand Prix Motor Park, making for a worthwhile combined outing in the area. As there are no published opening hours or a website to check in advance, it is worth timing a visit during daylight hours and treating it as a spontaneous stop rather than a planned destination. Given its roadside location and the fact that entry is free, it suits travellers already moving through Kanchanaburi's more rural western reaches rather than those making a dedicated trip solely for this attraction.

Visitor Reviews
It was an unusual sight that I saw when I drove past, so I made a U-turn and went back to check it out. Cars of all shapes, sizes, and other oddities in a beautiful setting. I just have to praise those who have done this job, because it was not done in a couple of days. It has also been painted a little, and everything is nicely arranged in a circle. It will be considered a museum, and a must-see for all car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Parking is available outside the site along the road past.
Really impressive, the owner must be an artist, there is no entrance fee, there are workers who maintain cleanliness. Recommendation for lovers of this kind of art
A unique and special spot to stop. Lot of cars of different brands and some other stuff. Really cool
Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
