The Royal Princess Condo

4.5(33 reviews)

Situated along Phet Kasem Road in Hua Hin, The Royal Princess Condo is a private residential condominium that has attracted visitors seeking a quieter, more personal alternative to traditional hotel accommodation. Its location provides easy access to the beach while remaining removed from the busier stretches of town, and guests have noted the panoramic views and peaceful atmosphere as standout qualities. For those looking to escape the pace of Bangkok, it offers a noticeably calmer base from which to explore the region. The property is privately owned and managed, with a friendly owner noted by guests. Units are described as nicely decorated and comfortable, with the building's elevated position contributing to appealing views. However, the experience can vary depending on the unit and timing of the visit, with at least one recent guest noting issues during a 2025 stay, suggesting it is worth communicating directly with the owner or manager before arrival to confirm current conditions. Prospective visitors should be aware that this is a private condominium complex and is not listed or operated as a conventional short-term rental or hotel. Anyone considering staying here should verify availability and booking directly, as listings on third-party accommodation platforms may not reflect the property's actual rental status. It is best suited to travellers who prefer a residential, low-key setting over resort-style amenities.

Visitor Reviews

Great

A very pleasant place to stay, nicely decorated and comfortable. I especially liked that it’s close to the beach, yet quiet and private, with a beautiful panoramic view. The owner is friendly and helpful, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. Overall, it’s a great value for the price; a really good Airbnb.

This is a private condominium, not for short-term rent. Those looking at various websites to rent as short-term / for vacation accommodation please be warned.

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture

Dress Modestly

Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.

Mind Your Feet

Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.

Ask Before Photographing

Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
