Runway Market
Situated on Thanon Pattayasaisong directly opposite the Alcazar cabaret theatre, this open-air night market draws a steady evening crowd with its relaxed atmosphere, affordable prices, and wide spread of vendor stalls covering food, clothing, and entertainment. It runs every day of the week, making it a reliable and informal option for dinner or late-night browsing in central Pattaya. Food is the main draw, with stalls serving Thai street staples alongside more adventurous fare. Visitors can expect mango sticky rice, BBQ meats, fresh seafood, smoothies, coconuts, and cold beer, as well as exotic options such as crocodile meat and insects for the more curious diner. Beyond food, the market includes budget-friendly clothing vendors, fresh fruit stalls, a shooting range, and big-screen TV viewing areas, giving it a casual entertainment dimension that suits both groups and solo travellers. Good to know: The market opens at 4pm and runs until 1am daily, making it a natural follow-on from nearby evening shows or entertainment. Arriving earlier in the evening generally means fewer crowds and better vendor availability. Individual stalls typically operate on a cash-only basis, so carrying Thai baht is strongly recommended. Comfortable footwear is advisable given the open-air layout.

Visitor Reviews
It is a trendy open-air market in Bangkok that offers a mix of shopping, food, and lifestyle experiences. It features a variety of stalls selling clothing, accessories, handmade crafts, and unique souvenirs, often at bargain prices. The market is also known for its street food and casual dining options, serving both local Thai flavors and international treats. Its lively atmosphere, live music, and photo-friendly spots make it popular with young travelers and social media enthusiasts. Overall, Runway Market is ideal for those looking for a fun, vibrant shopping experience combined with good food and entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting.
There are n number of shops in the market. A very good place to take a stroll. Many food options. Crocodile meat was also available in one shop. There are a few dress shops too which was cheaper than other places like pattaya night bazaar. Oil and inhaler were costly than pattaya night bazaar shop. It hosts a giant wheel which was 480 B for adults for two rounds. But can try once.
Nice night market with a big variety of fresh fruits and seafood. You can enjoy tasty BBQ, grab a cold beer, and have some fun at the shooting range or watch TV on a big screen. Prices are quite low, but the place is still more oriented towards tourists.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
