Runway Market
Located on Thanon Pattayasaisong opposite the famous Alcazar cabaret show, this open-air night market draws evening crowds with its wide spread of vendor stalls, relaxed atmosphere, and affordable prices. It operates every day of the week, giving visitors a reliable option for an informal dinner or late-night snack run in central Pattaya. Food is the main draw, with stalls serving Thai street staples alongside more adventurous options. Visitors can expect mango sticky rice, BBQ meats, fresh seafood, smoothies, coconuts, and cold beer, as well as exotic offerings such as crocodile meat and insects for the more curious diner. Beyond food, the market includes clothing stalls selling budget-friendly apparel, fresh fruit vendors, and occasional entertainment such as a shooting range and big-screen TV viewing areas. The mix of food, shopping, and casual entertainment makes it a practical stop for groups and solo travellers alike. Good to know: The market opens at 4pm and runs until 1am every day, making it well-suited for late dinners or post-show browsing after nearby evening entertainment. Arriving earlier tends to mean fewer crowds and more vendor availability. As payment methods vary between individual stalls, carrying Thai baht in cash is strongly recommended. Dress code is entirely casual — comfortable footwear is particularly advisable given the open-air market layout.

Its lively atmosphere, live music, and photo-friendly spots make it popular with young travelers and social media enthusiasts. Overall, Runway Market is ideal for those looking for a fun, vibrant shopping experience combined with good food and entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting.
There are n number of shops in the market. A very good place to take a stroll. Many food options. Crocodile meat was also available in one shop. There are a few dress shops too which was cheaper than other places like pattaya night bazaar. Oil and inhaler were costly than pattaya night bazaar shop. It hosts a giant wheel which was 480 B for adults for two rounds. But can try once.
Nice night market with a big variety of fresh fruits and seafood. You can enjoy tasty BBQ, grab a cold beer, and have some fun at the shooting range or watch TV on a big screen. Prices are quite low, but the place is still more oriented towards tourists.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
