Klong Thom Market Night Plaza Grande.
This large-scale weekend market in Ayutthaya's Uthai District operates on a community rather than tourist footing, drawing local shoppers alongside visitors with its broad and unpretentious mix of stalls. The market takes roughly an hour and a half to walk end to end, covering clothing, shoes, handicrafts, everyday household goods, and a substantial selection of second-hand items mixed in among new stock. Prices are displayed clearly at most stalls, which sets it apart from more tourist-oriented markets elsewhere in the region. Food is a genuine highlight, with street vendors offering Thai staples and snacks at local prices. Visitors have found items such as fresh produce, grilled squid, and Thai tea at very reasonable sums, and halal cooked food options are available throughout the market. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and neighbourhood-focused, making it a practical stop for travellers wanting an everyday Thai market experience rather than a curated shopping destination. The market runs Saturdays and Sundays only, from 11:30 to 21:00. Arriving in the late afternoon allows visitors to avoid the peak midday heat while still having plenty of time to cover the full length before closing. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly advisable given the distance involved. Bringing cash is recommended, as card payment is unlikely to be accepted at most stalls. Bargaining is reasonable practice, particularly when browsing clothing or second-hand goods.

Visitor Reviews
Loved this local market. It is huge. Took me around one and a half hours to cover the whole market. Affordable prices. Lovely people. Had a packet of chives for 20 THB. One squid for 70 THB. Thai tea 35 THB. One packet of apple slices and one packet of watermelon slices for 20 THB each. One packet of french fries with cheese dipping 39 THB for small size. One cone ice-cream 10 THB. One donut 15 THB. One hotdog 15 THB. These are all that I had at the market. Loved every bit of the experience. Window-shopped for second-hand clothes too.
Saturday-Sunday market has a lot of things for sale, including food, clothes, and the products here are cheap. I like it a lot. 😂😁
Great night market with local prices and most things are priced up so you know what you are paying not like other tourist markets

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
