Klong Thom Market Night Plaza Grande.
This expansive weekend market in Ayutthaya's Uthai District draws both locals and visitors with its broad mix of affordable goods and street food. Reviewers note it takes roughly an hour and a half to walk the full length of the market, giving a sense of its scale. Stalls cover a wide range, from clothing and shoes to handicrafts and everyday products, with a notable mix of new and second-hand goods available for those willing to browse carefully. Food is a strong drawcard, with vendors serving Thai street food and snacks at genuine local prices. Visitors have picked up items such as fresh produce, grilled squid, and Thai tea for very reasonable sums, and the market is noted for displaying prices clearly — a welcome contrast to more tourist-oriented markets in the region. Halal cooked food options are also available, broadening its appeal. The atmosphere is casual and community-focused rather than tourist-driven, which contributes to its appeal for travellers looking for an authentic local experience. The market operates on Saturdays and Sundays only, from 11:30 to 21:00. Arriving in the late afternoon or early evening offers the best combination of atmosphere and cooler temperatures. Bring cash, as many stalls are unlikely to accept card payments, and wear comfortable shoes given the amount of ground to cover. Bargaining is worthwhile, particularly on clothing and second-hand goods.

Visitor Reviews
Loved this local market. It is huge. Took me around one and a half hours to cover the whole market. Affordable prices. Lovely people. Had a packet of chives for 20 THB. One squid for 70 THB. Thai tea 35 THB. One packet of apple slices and one packet of watermelon slices for 20 THB each. One packet of french fries with cheese dipping 39 THB for small size. One cone ice-cream 10 THB. One donut 15 THB. One hotdog 15 THB. These are all that I had at the market. Loved every bit of the experience. Window-shopped for second-hand clothes too.
Saturday-Sunday market has a lot of things for sale, including food, clothes, and the products here are cheap. I like it a lot. 😂😁
Great night market with local prices and most things are priced up so you know what you are paying not like other tourist markets

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
