Balloon Ayutthaya Night Plaza
Balloon Ayutthaya Night Plaza is a weekend evening market in Uthai District, drawing locals and visitors looking for a relaxed alternative to daytime sightseeing in the historic Ayutthaya region. The market comes alive on Saturday and Sunday evenings, with vendors selling a mix of local goods, clothing, souvenirs, and an eclectic range of items — reviewers have noted everything from traditional Thai cuisine to motorcycle tyres and tattoo services, giving the plaza an authentically local, anything-goes character. Food is a clear highlight, with multiple stalls serving affordable Thai dishes and snacks. Drinks are notably cheap here too, with large bottles of Chang beer reportedly among the most competitively priced in the area. The atmosphere is casual and unhurried, and the venue is generally kept clean and well-maintained. Good to know: The plaza operates on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6 PM to 11 PM only. Visiting on a weekday will result in a much quieter experience with significantly fewer vendors open, as noted by several visitors. Arriving earlier in the evening tends to offer the best selection. Cash is recommended as the primary payment method, and travellers with dietary restrictions such as halal requirements should be aware that suitable options are currently limited.

Visitor Reviews
A great place to visit at night and lots to see, eat, and buy. A must visit if you here.
Good place to hang out and eat some cheap tasty local food there are many vendors to choose from. Chang beer was the cheapest here than other few bars around. 75 baht large bottle or 420baht 3 litre tower. We seen 3 live music sets on the stage which where all good for background noise. Not full show like an isan club. A 2 minute walk can go to new cowboy bar which had live music also. The side street down new cowboy has a few girly bars and massage places and kareokee bars and if you turn left there is more. It seems well setup for the Japanese tourists with vending machines and restaurants
Its clean and nice.. Many traditional Thai cuisine are sell in here. Even motor cycle tire and tatoo making is here.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
