Hua Ro market
Hua Ro Market is one of Ayutthaya's oldest and most enduring community markets, occupying a covered complex of shops and stalls beneath high glass-panelled roofs on Thanon Uthong, close to the historic island. The layout — part market, part mall — channels two-wheeler traffic through its covered lanes, and the glass-roofed structure keeps temperatures noticeably cooler than open-air alternatives, making it a practical place to browse in Ayutthaya's heat. While quieter than its peak years, it remains a working local market rather than a tourist destination, stocking fresh produce, household goods, clothing, and prepared food across its many stalls. Food is a genuine highlight. Fresh fruit smoothies are among the most recommended offerings, with certain stalls carrying upwards of 40 varieties made to order from fresh ingredients. The market also has multiple massage parlours for those looking to rest between sightseeing. The atmosphere is unhurried and geared toward residents, which gives visitors an unfiltered look at everyday commerce in the province. The market opens at 4:00 AM every day and runs until 6:00 PM. Arriving between 5:00 and 7:00 AM offers the best selection of fresh produce and breakfast options before popular stalls sell out. Bringing small bills is advisable, as individual vendors may have limited change. Its central location makes it easy to pair with a morning visit to nearby temples and ruins on Ayutthaya's historic island.

Visitor Reviews
I was walking the city and stumbled on this Market little quaint Market here in the city. A lot of various offerings everyone wasn't open yet upon my arrival but they were people setting up so that means this place gets really busy later in the afternoon!
It used to be the most busiest place in the province. Espanol it is a bit less busy but I always go there if I need anything for the house. Especially it has more than 10 massage parlors.😀

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
