Hello Sunshine
Compare prices
Hello Sunshine is a private guesthouse in Tha Wasukri, offering a quiet and comfortable base for exploring the historic temples and ruins of Ayutthaya. The property sits a little outside the main town centre, making it a genuinely peaceful retreat, particularly for travellers looking to decompress after the energy of Bangkok. Rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and come with private balconies — a feature guests frequently highlight as a favourite spot to unwind. Thoughtful in-room extras such as a kettle, coffee, tea, and drinking water are provided, and guests have access to shared cutlery and dishes for light self-catering. The host is consistently described as warm and welcoming, contributing strongly to the relaxed, homestyle atmosphere. The standard of cleanliness throughout is a recurring point of praise. Good to know: Hello Sunshine operates as a small, independently run guesthouse rather than a large hotel, so it suits travellers who appreciate personal service and a quieter setting over resort-style facilities. Given its size, rooms are likely to book out during peak periods around Thai public holidays and the Ayutthaya World Heritage season (roughly November to February). Checking the property website at ayutthayahomestay.com ahead of travel is advisable to confirm availability and current pricing. The location slightly outside the centre means having a bicycle, tuk-tuk, or rideshare app on hand will make getting around more convenient.

Visitor Reviews
The rooms are well-equipped and perfectly maintained. Whenever I return to Ayutthaya, this will definitely be my go-to place! The bed was super comfy, the bathroom spotless, and thoughtful extras like a kettle, coffee, and tea made our stay even more convenient. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. We rented a bike from here, which was far better than taking a taxi. Highly recommended! We initially booked 2 nights, then ended up extending our stay for one more night.
Booked for 2 nights but after the first night we extended right away! The room is spacious clean and well maintained. You even have a small private balcony. The woman who runs it is super friendly and helpful. Location was good, you have a 7-11 2 min away, and in the evening you have some stalls selling food next to it. We really enjoyed our stay hete and would definitely reccomend it to everyone!
Clean cozy room with a nice balcony! We enjoyed staying in this room a lot spending most of the time in the balcony lol Comfy bed, clean bathroom, extra convenient stuff such as a kettle, coffee and tea etc! The owner lady was very nice and helpful too! We rented a bike here and it was so much better than just taking a taxi. Highly recommended!!

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
