Treehouse Silent Beach
Treehouse Silent Beach occupies a stretch of calm, uncrowded shoreline on the northern coast of Koh Samui in Mae Nam, a welcome contrast to the busier beaches found elsewhere on the island. The venue's treehouse-inspired design gives it a relaxed, nature-forward character, and the open-air beachfront setting makes it particularly appealing during the late afternoon and at sunset. It functions as both a restaurant and bar with direct beach access, drawing visitors who are looking for a quieter pace rather than a high-energy scene. The kitchen offers a mix of Thai and international dishes, and the Khao Soi — a Northern Thai curry noodle soup — draws repeated praise from visitors. Staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, drinks arrive promptly, and several guests mention returning multiple times during a single stay. The children's menu has received some criticism for portion sizes, which is worth keeping in mind for families. Good to know: There is no website or formal booking platform listed for this venue, so arriving early or contacting the establishment directly is the most reliable approach for securing a table, particularly for dinner when it draws a steady crowd. Mae Nam's northern coastline can experience rougher seas and overcast conditions during the monsoon season, typically October and November, which may affect the experience of beachside dining. Outside of those months, the beach setting is one of the venue's strongest draws.

Visitor Reviews
We stumbled here for supper from our nearby hotel and what a beautiful surprise. Gorgeous seaside setting, fun design and smiling staff. I recommend reserving ahead of time if you’re coming for supper since it was quite busy, and we didnt get a table outside by the sea because we didn't have one. We will most definitely be back again before we leave.
We found this gem of a place by chance as we were wanting a relaxing afternoon on the beach, The beach is beautiful and quiet. We did not eat here however the service for drinks was quick, all staff very polite & helpful. Child friendly & the toilets are very clean. All in all a very relaxing place to visit.
We ate there multiple times, and it was always a wonderful experience. The place is authentic and extremely friendly, with lots of dishes on the menu that you just have to try. Thank you for everything 🙏

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
