Bore Klueng Hot Spring
Tucked away in the Suan Phung district, Bore Klueng Hot Spring is a modest, authentic geothermal attraction where naturally heated mineral waters reach around 39.5°C. Rather than a polished resort experience, this is a genuine local spot where Thai visitors come to soak in tiled pools and a dedicated leg-soaking area, surrounded by a relaxed rural setting. Small roadside stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables line the approach, adding to the unhurried, everyday atmosphere that makes the experience feel distinctly Thai. Visitors can expect a simple, unpretentious setup with two pool areas to choose from. The water temperature is consistently warm without being uncomfortably hot, and the tiled pools are well-suited for a leisurely soak. The site draws a steady crowd, particularly during public holidays when it can get quite busy, so those seeking a quieter visit may prefer arriving on a weekday morning. Good to know: Entry is very affordable, with ticket prices ranging from 5 to 80 baht depending on the ticket type and whether you are a Thai national or foreign visitor. Cash is essential as card payments are not available on site. The terrain is not wheelchair accessible, so visitors with mobility needs should be prepared for some walking on uneven ground. Waterproof sandals and a change of clothes are strongly recommended. Google Maps navigates reliably to the location, which sits in Ratchaburi province rather than Kanchanaburi proper, and is well placed as a day trip from nearby accommodation in Suan Phung.

Visitor Reviews
Lovely hot spring in Ratchaburi. Today's temperature is 39.5c and it's lovely hot Not too hot at all. Many visitors are enjoying the hot spring. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for reading.
Followed Google map which will easily lead you there. Fortunately it was about 5 k.m. from where I was staying. The tiled pool was lovely. Water temperature was just right. We were there about 9.30 a.m. so we had the pool to ourselves. We soaked for about 20minutes. All in all it was a lovely experience. Highly recommended.
Small scale hot spring pool and leg soaking area. There are local stores selling fruits and veggies along the way. Don’t set expectations and you will really experience the local ways.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
