Nava Land Water Park
Set in the quiet Wiang Chai District of Chiang Rai, this water park offers a refreshing break from the region's cultural sightseeing circuit. The park features multiple water slides, large swimming pools, a wave pool, and dinosaur-themed attractions, making it a genuine draw for families with children. Its size is considered well-suited to the Chiang Rai area, and visitors note that expansion appears to be ongoing. The atmosphere is relaxed and local in character, busiest on weekends and school holidays but noticeably quieter on weekdays. On-site food is available at reasonable prices, with dishes like chicken fried rice offered from the restaurant. Facilities including washrooms are reported to be clean and well-maintained. Entry is priced at 150 baht per person, with an additional 50 baht charge for accompanying non-swimming guests. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the park. Good to know: Based on visitor reviews, the park appears to operate on a limited schedule, opening on Saturdays and potentially other select days rather than daily, so confirming opening days before making the trip is strongly recommended. Arriving on a weekday offers a quieter experience with shorter wait times. Bring sun protection as shade may be limited, and carry cash for entry fees and food purchases as no website or advance booking option is currently available.

Visitor Reviews
A really fun place to bring the kids. It’s a good size for Chiang Rai and it looks like they are adding more pools soon. Not too expensive.
Very cool place. If I were a kid again, it would be a blast here, truly fun. Many good slides and lots of large pools play in. The wave pool is included, as with the dinosaurs 🦕 😎...open only Saturday and Sundays 😱
Great day out for families! We came during the week so it was quiet but I can see this being a very popular place on the weekends and school holidays. We had chicken fried rice for lunch from the restaurant and it was nice.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
