Take your time Massage Ayutthaya
Tucked away in the Talat Grand area of Ayutthaya's Uthai district, this small massage establishment has built a loyal following among travellers looking to unwind after a day exploring the city's ancient temples and ruins. The therapists are frequently praised for their intuitive approach, with a particular ability to locate and relieve tension and pain points — a quality that sets this place apart from more generic massage shops in the area. The Thai Herbal Balm body massage is a standout treatment, drawing repeat visitors who appreciate its targeted relief for sore muscles and stiffness. The atmosphere is clean and private, and the owner is noted for being welcoming and unpressured — a refreshing quality in a tourist-heavy destination. The space is accessed via a couple of flights of stairs, and there is no elevator, so visitors with mobility considerations should bear this in mind. Pricing is described by visitors as affordable, making it a good option for budget-conscious travellers. One visitor noted the air conditioning can run cold and the music selection limited, so those sensitive to temperature may want to bring a light layer. As there is no website or listed contact information, it is worth stopping by in person to check availability and current pricing before committing. Given its small size and strong reputation, arriving early or outside peak tourist hours is advisable.

Visitor Reviews
I had a madsage last night here and the lady was very good, friendly and professional. The place was clean and private though had to walk a couple of flights up- no elevator. Very honest, no pressure sales and paid after massage was completed. Would I come back- Absolutely yes at least with the therapist I had.
A nice spot with affordable prices, the masseuse really knows well how to carefully target the tense muscles and reduce stiffness of my troubled back. Plus the shop owner is nice and really cute😉. Would love to visit here another time.
Excellent massage in Ayutthaya. Massage lady is a good doctor and knows where my pain points are. She did a miraculous job to relieve my body. Thai balm massage is strongly recommended!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
