Wealthy Home Cafe Ayutthaya
Wealthy Home Café sits along a river bend in Ayutthaya's Phra Nakhon Si district, offering a laid-back dining experience that visitors consistently describe as feeling like a meal at a friend's house. The riverside setting provides natural views across to Wat Choeng and the Pridi Banomyong Bridge, with a cool breeze that makes it a comfortable spot to linger over food and drinks. The menu leans toward Thai home-style cooking, with standout mentions of roti, french fries, and Thai tea from repeat visitors. The atmosphere is informal and unhurried, making it well suited to a casual lunch or afternoon break rather than a formal dining occasion. Staff are noted for being attentive and helpful, adding to the welcoming, unpretentious feel of the place. While it functions as both a café and restaurant, the food and drink offering can vary by day, so those specifically seeking coffee are advised to check availability before visiting. Open seven days a week from 10:00 to 22:00, the café is accessible throughout the day, making it a practical stop whether arriving after a morning of temple-hopping or winding down in the early evening. For the most up-to-date menu information and any changes to hours, visitors can check the café's Facebook page before heading over.

Visitor Reviews
A relaxed lunch, like having a meal at a friend's house, with mom cooking and kids making drinks. The atmosphere by the river is lovely, with a cool breeze. The food is pretty good, and the service is polite and genuine. It's a restaurant and cafe that makes you feel great... Plus, a monkey even took a train from Lopburi to Ayutthaya! It passed by, sat for a bit, and then disappeared before I could get a picture! 😂🤣
The food was delicious, but the atmosphere was quite mysterious, haha. It felt like having a meal at a friend's house. The roti was amazing, and the french fries were delicious too. Highly recommend!
Good Thai tea and services. There aren't many photo spots. Suitable for chillax and drinks. Today, no coffee menu. If you want a coffee, you need to check first.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
