Fusion Seafood - Ayutthaya
Situated in the historic city of Ayutthaya, this mid-range seafood restaurant has built a following among both visiting tourists and local diners. Reviewers note that the building itself carries a striking, heritage-like appearance — one visitor initially mistook it for a historic site — giving it a sense of character uncommon among casual dining options in the area. The restaurant sits in Tambon Ban Pom, making it a practical dining stop alongside a day of temple exploration. The menu leans into fresh seafood, with grilled river prawns and shrimp cakes among the standout dishes frequently mentioned by guests. Set menus are available at fixed price points, offering a structured way to sample multiple dishes, though some visitors note that portion sizes on certain items can be modest relative to expectations. A spicy sour seafood salad has also drawn positive mentions. The atmosphere is described as charming and the dining room can fill quickly, particularly in the evenings. Good to know: advance booking is recommended for dinner, with at least one reviewer noting a deposit is required to secure a reservation. Walk-ins are possible but are not guaranteed a table, especially during peak tourist season between November and February. Opening hours are not listed online, so confirming timings before visiting is advisable to avoid a wasted trip.

Visitor Reviews
The restaurant's atmosphere is charming; initially, I thought the restaurant itself was a historic site. We went without a reservation but were fortunate to get a table. Our family of four opted for the set menu of five dishes, fearing the larger set might be too much for us. However, the portions were not overly large, so we ended up ordering a few additional dishes. It was great to be able to try several different items. Next time, we'll aim for the big set of ten dishes. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and the dishes were not overly spicy. The presentation was appealing, especially the grilled river prawns. The prices were reasonable, although we had to share the restaurant's page publicly to get the advertised promotional price.
Fusion Seafood - Ayutthaya is a must-visit for seafood lovers exploring this historic city. Its fresh, flavorful dishes, especially the grilled river prawns and shrimp cakes, paired with a picturesque riverside setting, make it a standout. The value-packed set menus are perfect for groups, and the casual, welcoming vibe suits families, couples, or solo travelers alike. While service can lag slightly during peak times and parking is limited, the quality of the food and the charming atmosphere more than make up for it. For a memorable seafood feast in Ayutthaya, Fusion Seafood delivers a fantastic experience that’s well worth the visit. I’ll be back to try more of their menu on my next trip!
This place seems to be one of the famous restaurants. Thai friends have to visit and visit. The design of my eyes and outer tube was impressive. I think it's a foreign person. The menu has various foods and can also select the set menu. Four people ordered various foods, but it was not burdensome. I thought that the amount of each food, but it wasn't easy to eat all food I ordered. I think it's a restaurant that can satisfy the taste and price.
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
