Princess Divers - Scuba Diving Phi Phi Island
Operating from Phi Phi Island in Krabi, Princess Divers runs scuba certification courses and guided fun dives across some of Thailand's most celebrated coastal waters. The surrounding reefs offer healthy coral, strong marine biodiversity, and reliable visibility, with divers regularly reporting encounters with varied sea life even on a single dive. The operation serves both complete beginners working toward Open Water certification and already-certified divers looking to explore local underwater terrain with an experienced guide. Instructors are consistently highlighted in visitor accounts for their attentiveness and ability to put nervous first-timers at ease. Named guides come up repeatedly in reviews as patient, safety-conscious, and genuinely encouraging — qualities that carry weight for anyone considering their first experience underwater. Group sizes remain manageable, allowing instructors to give individual attention throughout briefings, equipment checks, and the dives themselves. Diving is possible year-round, but the dry season from November through April brings the calmest sea conditions and clearest visibility, making it the most popular window to visit. Those planning an Open Water certification course should allow for multiple days, as the programme includes both confined-water sessions and open-water dives. Booking ahead is advisable during peak months. Reef-safe sunscreen and a rash guard are worth packing for sun protection during surface intervals.

Visitor Reviews
I had an amazing experience with Princess Divers in Phi Phi. I completed my open water course in Koh Tao about a week before, and when I arrived in Phi Phi I decided to do two fun dives with them and it couldn’t have gone better. Our instructor, Kerstin, was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely professional and helped us with everything from start to finish. The dives were truly beautiful, we saw stunning corals, lots of fish (Nemos!) and even sharks. Everything was well organized, safe and enjoyable, and the whole team made us feel comfortable and welcome. I would 100% recommend Princess Divers to anyone who wants to do any kind of diving in Phi Phi, whether you’re a beginner or already certified. An unforgettable experience!
I've been lucky enough to dive in several places and I can confidently say that Princess Divers lives up to the high-quality diving offered by the Phi Phi Islands. In just one dive, I saw everything! Octopuses, squid, a clownfish, several blacktip reef sharks, moray eels, pufferfish, lionfish, a scorpionfish, lobsters, a seahorse, schools of thousands of fish, and so much more! The food they offer on the boat is amazing and the staff is super professional. I highly recommend them, both for beginners and certified divers. Surely a must to do in Phi Phi islands!
Thanks to the Princess Divers Team. Diving is fun, but it also comes with great responsibility for both the diver and the assigned dive instructor. In my case, Eze. He was friendly, always helpful, listened to me in every situation, and took the time for me and my Open Water certification. I really enjoyed the dives and I'm looking forward to diving with you again sometime. Best regards, Lennart Homann

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
