Phi Phi Sea Frog Diving Center - Scuba Diving Phi Phi Island, Thailand
Based in Ao Nang in the Krabi region, this diving centre specialises in scuba experiences centred around Phi Phi Island, one of Thailand's most celebrated underwater destinations. Dive trips here offer access to diverse marine life, with visitors regularly encountering sharks, turtles, octopuses, and vibrant coral formations across multiple sites known for their clarity and biodiversity. The centre caters to a wide range of experience levels, from complete beginners taking their first breaths underwater to certified divers seeking guided exploration of more advanced sites. Instructors receive consistent praise from visitors for their friendliness, professionalism, and ability to put nervous first-timers at ease. The centre offers Open Water certification courses alongside guided dive trips, and a dedicated underwater photographer is available to capture the experience. Staff members are noted by name across reviews, reflecting a personalised approach that distinguishes the operation from larger, more impersonal dive operators in the region. Prices are described by visitors as reasonable relative to comparable centres. Good to know: The best diving conditions around Phi Phi Island typically fall between November and April, when visibility is at its clearest and seas are calmest. Booking certification courses or dive trips in advance is strongly recommended during peak season, particularly around December and January. Bring any existing dive certifications, a rash guard, and reef-safe sunscreen. The Ao Nang base location provides straightforward access to transport connections heading toward Phi Phi Island.

Visitor Reviews
We had an absolutely amazing time diving with this school in Koh Phi Phi! The underwater world here is breathtaking, and during our trip, we were lucky enough to see sharks, turtles, an octopus, and so many other incredible marine creatures. We did two dives, each lasting over 30 minutes, which gave us plenty of time to really soak in the scenery. A huge shout-out to the staff who made it special. Dani from England was fantastic, and I want to give a very special thank you to Alba, a small, cheerful Spanish girl who was my guide. I was quite nervous and felt some fear before getting into the water, but Alba took such good care of me the entire time. She made me feel completely safe and supported throughout both dives. If you are looking for a professional and caring team, I highly recommend them. It was worth every penny!
It was my first dive ever; and absolute fantastic experience it was, most of the credit goes to Sea Frog, My instructor Paulita and the fantastic photographer Carlos. Truely, The best diving school I could have asked for, they explained me everything very well in advance, prepared/trained me well, boast my confidence, took care of me to the utmost level and made my first time absolutely “Magical”. If you are visiting phi-phi, definitely try scuba and definitely go with Sea Frog… because I will, whenever I come there next :) Love ya’ Paulita, Carlos & Sea Frog team, hope to meet you all soon enough again :) :)
Absolutely incredible day under the waves! 🌊 Diving is one thing, but sharing the silence of the ocean with your brother is a whole different level of magic. 🤿✨ From the pre-dive jitters to that weightless wonder the moment we descended, every second was unforgettable. Seeing the vibrant coral and schools of fish together felt like discovering a hidden world. There’s truly no better way to bond than navigating the deep blue as a team. 🐠💙 Huge shoutout to the crew for keeping us safe and making it such a seamless experience. Can’t wait for our next underwater adventure! 🤙 Special Thanks to Rahu..🥳🥳🥳
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
