Phi Phi Island Divers
Based in Ao Nang, Phi Phi Island Divers runs guided diving expeditions to some of Krabi's most celebrated underwater sites, including Koh Bida Nok, where divers encounter crystal-clear water, colourful coral formations, and a wide variety of tropical marine life. The centre caters to all experience levels — from complete beginners taking their first plunge to certified divers looking for well-organised reef dives with knowledgeable local guides. Visitors consistently highlight the attentiveness and professionalism of individual instructors, with first-time divers in particular noting how safe and supported they felt throughout the experience. Groups tend to be small, allowing instructors to stay close to each participant during dives. The centre covers equipment, pre-dive briefings, and in-water guidance as part of its standard operations, making it accessible even for those with no prior experience. Good to know: The centre is open every day from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, which gives travellers with flexible itineraries plenty of options for booking. Early departures are common — at least one trip reported a 7:00 AM start — so it is worth confirming exact meeting times when booking. Checking the website at phi-phi-island-divers.com in advance is recommended for current packages, available dive sites, and certification course details. Those with an existing PADI or equivalent certification should bring their card to streamline the process.

Visitor Reviews
I had my first-ever diving experience with Phi Phi Island Divers, and it was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, everything was well organized, professional, and made me feel safe and excited at the same time. As a beginner, I was naturally a bit nervous, but my instructor a French guy (I’m really sorry for forgetting his name!) was amazing. He was patient, calm, and explained everything clearly, which made a huge difference. It was an intense day with so many new visuals and emotions, but I always felt supported and in good hands. The underwater experience itself was unforgettable. Seeing the marine life up close for the first time is something I’ll remember for a very long time. It truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the whole team for making my first dive such a special and memorable adventure. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to diving! Greetings Kamil
We had an amazing time with Island Diver! We first did two dives. Léon was an amazing instructor ! He really took good care of me and my husband and we really had fun seeing all sorts of sea animals. We felt super safe and we had the best time ever. After our first two dives we liked it so much that we decided to take the open water. I was very scared at some point because you had to take off your mask underwater and put it again and clear the water from the mask. This really stressed me out but Léon was very understanding and patient, just the right mix between patience and calm determination to help me master my fear and manage to do it after a few tries. We ended up doing the open water with my husband and four more dives and it was an amazing experience. All the other colleagues were very nice on the boat, very welcoming and an international crew. Fully recommend 💯💯💯
We started the day at 7 sharp, and off to Koh Bida Nok to begin with a short diving refresh session. After we were ready, we went down to see the beautiful reef - crystal clear water, colorful corals, and an amazing variety of marine life. Then we continued to Malong Bay where we took photos with fish, a turtle, and stunning coral formations. Everything was perfectly organized, relaxed, and safe, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Anita and Marco 🩷 thank you for this unforgettable experience. You were professional, calm, supportive, and also fun to dive with - the perfect balance for both confidence and enjoyment underwater. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phi Phi who wants a memorable and well-guided dive!

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
