Parrotdise Organic Farm & Cafe
Tucked into the rural Thap Tai area outside Hua Hin, this organic farm and cafe blends genuine agricultural life with high-quality dining and a cast of resident parrots that give the place its name. It functions simultaneously as a working farm, a cafe serving espresso and fresh juices, and an informal animal sanctuary — making it one of the more distinctive stops in the region rather than a straightforward restaurant or single-activity tour. Visitors can expect a relaxed, characterful atmosphere with plenty to explore beyond the menu. The kitchen draws on farm-grown produce to prepare Thai dishes and baked goods, with regulars consistently highlighting the quality across multiple courses. The parrots are a genuine drawcard, and the broader collection of animals on the property makes it particularly engaging for families with children. The owners are noted for creating a welcoming, unhurried environment that encourages lingering. Good to know: Opening hours are not published online, so it is worth contacting the farm directly or checking locally before making the trip out. The rural location means private transport or a local taxi is the most practical option, as it sits away from standard Hua Hin tourist routes. Comfortable footwear is recommended if planning to walk the farm grounds, and sun protection is advisable during warmer months.

Visitor Reviews
A Culinary Gem with Heart, Soul, and Exotic Friends! We keep coming back to this place, and for good reason! It is truly a unique find that combines high-quality dining with a wonderful atmosphere. The Food: The kitchen’s commitment to freshness is evident in every bite. Their homemade pasta is a must-try—absolutely delicious and crafted with skill. It is rare to find such "fine dining" quality at such fair and honest prices. You can really taste the love in their cooking. The Highlights: What sets this restaurant apart is the charming on-site zoo. It’s completely free for guests and features a variety of animals, including beautiful birds and parrots. It’s a total highlight for both kids and adults, making the visit feel like a mini-vacation. Service & Vibe: The ambiance is wonderful, and the service is consistently excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. Whether you are here for a family outing or a nice dinner, you feel perfectly taken care of. Verdict: Excellent food, great prices, and a fantastic experience for all ages. We highly recommend it and are already looking forward to our next visit!
What a find! Perfect venue for so many reasons. The owners have kids so the cafe/restaurant is set up to keep kids busy. Quality of food was remarkable and no short cuts taken on any of the 7 dishes we ordered. Menu provides plenty of choice (western and local) without being encyclopaedic and throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Thailand. Ingredients are in large part locally grown and components are all fresh and in-house. Wonderful place to explore and you can tell there’s a high level of love and pride in the day-to-day running. Devil is always in the details and you can’t fake or buy the attention to detail and passion with which these guys serve their customers.
This place exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the surroundings were full of character. There are so many animals to see, the parrots were especially entertaining and the peacocks are absolutely stunning. We also had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about the place. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so deeply about creating a great experience for visitors. Overall, a fantastic spot with excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and an unforgettable mix of nature and hospitality. Highly recommended.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
