Hua Hin Place
Tucked into a quiet soi in Hua Hin, this well-regarded guesthouse delivers exceptional value for budget-conscious travellers visiting the popular coastal town. Despite its listing under Temples & Culture, visitor reviews consistently describe a lodging experience, with guests praising the clean, spacious rooms, some of which offer sea views from the upper floors. Rates have been noted at under 500 baht per night, making it one of the more affordable options in the area. The atmosphere is warm and personal, with much of the praise directed at the owners and front desk staff, who are repeatedly described as friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Repeat visitors speak to the consistency of the experience, highlighting the quiet surroundings and convenient proximity to the beach as key reasons they return year after year. For those planning a stay, it is worth requesting a higher floor at the time of booking to improve the chances of securing a room with a view. The guesthouse appears to fill up with returning guests, so booking in advance is advisable, particularly during Thai public holidays and peak travel seasons between November and March when Hua Hin draws larger crowds.

Visitor Reviews
This is my second year staying at this hotel and it has been one of the best experiences throughout my trip in Thailand. The owners are magnificent and the receptionist is THE BEST, she deserves the entire world 🌏 Nice stay close to the beach 🏝️ I adore staying at Naebkehardt Road, so many good coffee shops and places to eat. Also behind the hotel there’s a nice navy park where a lot of Hua Hin people jog and run everyday I really enjoy spending my evenings there 🏃🏽♀️
This is my second time in Hua Hin and in this Hotel and I absolutely love it. It’s perfect for me. Super clean, quiet, close to the beach, some of the rooms have sea view. Owners and Penny are so friendly, kind and respectful. Everything works perfectly. I have been in more than 600 places as I am traveling the world for more than 10 years and Hua Hin Place is one of the 4 places I can call home.
For the price they ask on booking (my room was a little less than 500 baht), it's just a fairy tale, not an option, I'm not exaggerating. Watch the video, I think it conveys the atmosphere. By the way, the beach was absolutely deserted, a very quiet place, I recommend it!
Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
