Elephant Bar
Nestled within the historic Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas in Hua Hin, Elephant Bar offers an elegant evening retreat with a consistently praised live music program. The resident trio — featuring a vocalist, pianist, and guitarist — delivers nightly performances that have built a loyal following among both hotel guests and local regulars, with returning visitors noting that the musicians have continued to improve over the years. The bar menu includes a range of cocktails, with signature creations such as the Lychee and Ginger Mojito drawing attention alongside more familiar classics. Bartenders receive frequent praise for their skill and professionalism, and the overall atmosphere strikes a balance between refined and relaxed — appropriate for a quiet drink or a longer evening out. Elephant Bar opens at 17:00 every day of the week and stays open until 01:00, making it a natural choice for an early sundowner or a late-night wind-down. As it sits within a large beach resort, guests should be aware that some areas of the property have been undergoing renovation, though the bar itself remains fully operational. Visitors staying outside the resort are welcome, and the venue is best suited to those looking for a calm, music-led night out rather than a high-energy club experience.

Visitor Reviews
Consistently spectacular music from the band, and they just keep getting better over the years. All three musicians—the singer, pianist, and guitarist—have wonderful voices and create such a great atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A truly lovely place to enjoy great music and drinks.
I was for the first time in this bar at evening, although I know Centara, from before Covid-19, where I used to spend the afternoon at swimming pool bar. The 2 girls working there do a good professional job, taking care of customers, able to create a relaxing ambiance and also the cocktails top notch mixed and a good music too.
This bar is located within the fabulous Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas. Had a few drinks here earlier tonight and the band performing was very good. The cocktails were well made and most enjoyable. The service crew were attentive, unobtrusive and friendly. Enjoy the experience tonight and will likely return.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
