Visitor Reviews
This local market is a bit far from the city center, so having your own vehicle is recommended. There is plenty of parking available. The market offers a variety of local snacks, handmade souvenirs, and traditional Thai dishes prepared by people from the community-all very flavorful and authentic. Inside, you’ll also find stalls selling local crafts and vintage Thai items that reflect the culture and history of the area. Prices are very reasonable, much cheaper than what you’d expect at more touristy spots. The vendors and staff are kind and friendly, It’s a great spot for anyone looking to experience the charm of a real Thai village atmosphere. 29/06/2025
Cute little market to stop by on the way back from Ayutthaya to Bangkok. You can find local food with local price ☺️ Vendors trying hard to create oldies time atmosphere by wearing farmer outfit with weaving hats. You have both savory & sweet food and also some local items to buy for gifting. It is not big, but cozy. We went on a Saturday and you can see local elder people having fun singing Thai oldies songs on the open 🥰 The place it is also quite clean 😁
The desserts next to the Khanom Thuai stall are delicious — crispy, fragrant, not overly creamy, and very affordable at 20 baht per pack. The Khanom Thuai itself is best enjoyed hot; it’s tasty but slightly on the sweet side, priced at just 5 baht per cup.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
