Daeng Beach
Daeng Beach is a compact coastal bay located on Koh Larn island, a short boat ride from Pattaya. Despite its modest size, the beach draws visitors for its clear blue waters and the underwater world beneath them — rocky outcrops and coral formations shelter a variety of fish, making it a rewarding spot for snorkellers. The surrounding scenery also lends itself to photography, particularly during sunset when the light over the bay is at its most striking. Beachside restaurants offer food and seating, so visitors can comfortably spend several hours here. That said, the beach does get crowded, and swimming is confined to a designated fenced area due to the presence of speed boats and jet skis operating nearby. The limited swimming zone is worth keeping in mind, especially for those travelling with children or expecting open-water swimming. Bringing snorkelling equipment is strongly recommended, as it significantly enhances the experience. Visiting earlier in the day or on weekdays may help avoid the heaviest crowds. As with most beaches on Koh Larn, access typically involves catching a ferry or speedboat from Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier, so factoring in travel time is advisable when planning the day.

Visitor Reviews
On this beach is situated this restaurant on photo. If you need to work or do your business, I definitely don't recommend even coming around this restaurant. WIFI is not working. And if you think you can rely on your internet...hahahaha ,only 3G is working, which practically means no internet at all. The beach on other hand is gorgeous, video tells everything.
Daeng Beach at Koh Larn is definitely worth visiting. Although it is rather small with quite limited swimming area, the underwater life is diverse - don’t forget snorkelling equipment. Moreover, the surroundings seem to undergo swift reconstruction with many blooming trees and various flowers being grown there = romantic pictures available :-)
4 stars because the Beach and the water is beautiful but it’s over crouded. You can only swim in a fanced off area, because of speed boats and jet skis… During sunset you can take beautiful photos or just watch how others do it… 😳😂

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
