Bang Saray Beach
Bang Saray Beach is a laid-back coastal escape in Sattahip District, roughly 35 minutes from downtown Pattaya, offering a noticeably quieter alternative to the busier beaches closer to the city. The beach itself is known for being clean and relatively uncrowded, with palm trees providing natural shade and a designated safe swimming area for those heading into the water. Visitors can bring their own chairs and settle under the trees, or opt for deckchair restaurants along the shoreline. The road running parallel to the beach is well set up for a full day or evening out, with a varied mix of restaurants, bars, and food vendors catering to different tastes and budgets. A night market adds further appeal, drawing both locals and travellers with its range of food options. The northern end of the beach tends to be the quietest stretch, making it a good choice for those looking to avoid the busier weekend crowds. Weekends can see a noticeable increase in visitors, particularly among local families, so those seeking a quieter experience are better off visiting on a weekday or outside peak tourist season. The beach is open around the clock, and the beachside dining scene means it holds appeal well into the evening. No entrance fee is required to access the beach itself.

Visitor Reviews
Nice beach, the North end is quieter, can get busy at weekends. Many restaurants and a few bars along the road.
A great area not too far from downtown Pattaya. You can bring your own camping chairs and relax under the trees. Has several food options, even smashburgers from a foodcart and also deckchair restaurants. A nice beach with quite clear water. Great view of the Pattaya skyline from there.
Beautiful beaches to walk down many vendors. Variety of restaurants. The night market has different taste for everyone. Not only is it a beautiful place for with scenery, the people themselves are beautiful!

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
