Suan Son Pradiphat
Suan Son Pradiphat offers a distinctly local coastal experience in Hua Hin's Nong Kae area, drawing Thai families and visitors who prefer natural, uncommercialised shoreline over busier tourist beaches. The beach is characterised by rows of pine trees that line the sand and provide generous natural shade, fine clean sand, and generally calm, clear water suitable for swimming. Small crabs can be spotted moving along the shoreline, and the surrounding environment retains a natural quality that feels increasingly rare along Thailand's Gulf coast. The atmosphere is unhurried and unpretentious. Visitors can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, and a small food hall alongside a handful of shops provides basic refreshments without overwhelming the setting. A modest entry fee of 20 baht is charged at the gate, and parking is available directly beside the beach, making it a straightforward and affordable day trip from central Hua Hin. The beach skews toward local visitors rather than international tourists, which contributes to its relaxed, old-fashioned character. Good to know: The beach is at its busiest on weekends and Thai public holidays, so arriving early is advisable for those wanting a quieter experience and a good spot under the pines. The southwest monsoon season, roughly May to October, can bring higher tides and occasionally rough conditions, so it is worth checking sea conditions before swimming during this period. Sun protection is essential year-round, as cloud cover can be deceptive in the coastal heat.

Visitor Reviews
The air on here is very clean and fresh for a deep breath. Environment on this beach is also plenty of being natural. I saw a lot of mini-crabs were walking and running on the beach. They tried to make their home by roll sand to a round ball and put away from their house. These creature makes me craze for them. I fall in love om these beach so much. If you have time for travelling, why not you try to visit these beach? You will love it.
Feel like the old time Thai beach. Nice sand mix with old fashion and new age.
Quiet and clean fine sand beach. Clear sea water. Not many tourists. Lot of pine trees than I expected. Beach chairs and small tables provided. Great place for a family. I didnt stay overnight so no idea about the accommodation. Many sparrows and pigeons. Not much trash. Great place relaxing for parents and being safe for children!

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
