Suan Son Pradiphat
Suan Son Pradiphat is a natural beach in Hua Hin's Nong Kae area that retains a distinctly local character, drawing Thai families and visitors seeking a relaxed coastal experience away from more commercialised stretches of coastline. The beach is notable for its rows of pine trees providing natural shade, clean fine sand, and generally clear, calm water suitable for swimming. A small entry fee of 20 baht is charged, with parking available directly beside the beach, making it a straightforward and affordable day trip. The atmosphere here is unhurried and unpretentious. Visitors can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, and a couple of food halls along with a handful of shops provide basic refreshments and supplies without overwhelming the natural setting. Small crabs can be spotted moving along the shoreline, and the air is notably fresh. The beach feels relatively undeveloped compared to other coastal destinations in the region, which is a significant part of its appeal for those wanting a quieter experience. Good to know: The beach is busiest on weekends and Thai public holidays when local visitors arrive in numbers, so arriving early helps secure a good spot. Hua Hin's coastal weather is warm year-round, but the southwest monsoon season from May to October can bring higher tides and occasional rough conditions, as some visitors have noted. Sun protection is essential regardless of cloud cover, and light, breathable clothing is recommended throughout the year.

Visitor Reviews
The air on here is very clean and fresh for a deep breath. Environment on this beach is also plenty of being natural. I saw a lot of mini-crabs were walking and running on the beach. They tried to make their home by roll sand to a round ball and put away from their house. These creature makes me craze for them. I fall in love om these beach so much. If you have time for travelling, why not you try to visit these beach? You will love it.
Feel like the old time Thai beach. Nice sand mix with old fashion and new age.
Quiet and clean fine sand beach. Clear sea water. Not many tourists. Lot of pine trees than I expected. Beach chairs and small tables provided. Great place for a family. I didnt stay overnight so no idea about the accommodation. Many sparrows and pigeons. Not much trash. Great place relaxing for parents and being safe for children!
Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
